Nintendo isn't making games for us, the old school generation, anymore. Either we accept it and move on or accept it and enjoy what Nintendo has to offer.

Well, I think the reason is that Nintendo is running out of ideas for their AAA titles.Proof of this, when a game like Mario Galaxy goes from saving the princess to Outer-space...it means that the developer is running out of ideas.Hollywood movies do the same thing...

what I think the article is trying to say is that SP we all have grown to love won't be the same SP experience 3 years from now. With cloud computer and ubiquitous computing becoming wide spread means every electron device(mobile/Tvs/gaming consoles/etc etc) are going to be interconnected(indoors and outdoors).
For example, let says, that you're playing a SP game.
And, you run in to an end boss that you have to fight.
Now the SP experience we all know ...
were not hating on Capcom for no reason. Beside, there is always a Cause & Effect to every situation.
See, the thing is, Capcom is trying to take us for a fool....

Everyone is getting the wrong picture here....what he is saying is that SP game won't be the same SP we all have grown to love. It would be a different SP experience. SP game will always be around but with a few added bonus.
That why they don't have a name for it yet. It would be entire new SP experience.
That might be possible in 3-5 years.With Ubiquitous computing starting to take shape in the computer industry, single player game would become obsolete.
That being said, ever electronic device(console/TV's/mobile /home/office) will be interconnected, indoor and outdoor.
That also apply to the Gaming world as well....one will be able to play the same games just about any game just anywhere in the world.

Personally, I think the designs need a lot of work.
Oh, and I hate console designs that uses handles.
That being said,Console should be designed to be stationary like for homes or office not on the Go. Just my opinion!

Perhaps the 360/PS3 might run at 60fps, but I doubt it would be in HD dued to the limitation of the RAM(512).
Beside, running a Aliens in HD with blurry low res texture just wouldn't work for me.
The Wii U Aliens would most likely have hi res textures and running in full HD which would look incredible on a 55inch lcd TV.
Just looking over the Demo Adrift reminds me of Metroid....the sense of isolation is definitely noticeable.
The music in the demo has the same musical style as metroid. Adrift Looks awesome. Seems to me that Metroid has finally met it match.
Soulcalibur V looks incredible....the textures and graphics
are some of the best I've ever seen coming from Namco.
Voldo looks weird in that Bee outfit, but it still looks interesting though. can't wait to play it.

I have to agree with this article...After Zelda skyward sword hit store shelves there won't be anything worth getting for the wii. I own a wii and i hardly ever play it. so, I think it time for Nintendo to drop the wii and focus on the Wii U.
