If I can walk into any wal-mart in North America in 2012, and buy a PS2 and games for it, I would call that supporting a system. You can't say that about MS and their first Xbox, can you?

People like you make me laugh, how many 360 exclusives can be played on a PC? That's right, the 360 has even less exclusive games then they would have you believe, because if you can play it on PC aswell ... then it ain't exclusive is it?
There are very few games that are truely exclusive to the 360 , and the 360 is not even close to the best platform to play multi-plat game...
I disagree, this would be a better rental then buy... atleast that's what I wished I had done.
I finished all the endings in a week and sold it, there is just no replay value after that.
ps3 and pc maybe (considering it's already being done), but not ps3 and xbox. Even if sony was willing to do this between the consoles, I highly doubt MS would go for it, or even nintendo for that matter.
besides the fact that heavy rain is a heeping pile of sh*t, it also has zero replay value once you have completed the endings.
I owned it for 1 week before it went to the recycle bin... then again this is just my opinion, and you know what they say? opinions are like assholes, every buddy has one.
isn't the wii-u the next gen console? so any game really should be better in every way on the wii-u, atleast until sony and MS jump to the next gen , then the wii-u will once again be sub par.
But they all will always be sub par to the pc, and console gamers will always denie that fact.
BTW, didn't sony and MS also say their games would be in 1080p , only to fine very few that were. Nintendo is playing catch up but they will still fall behind the time...

how does this stop them from taking any responsibility? All sony is saying is if you plan on sueing , don't expect to come and play on their psn, seems logical to me.
If you planned on sueing a company, (for what ever reason) then why would you continue to use their services in the first place?

Hey LOGIC, do you remember what happened to the HD-DVD? After that failure, why would MS even think about coming up with an "new disc format", especially 6 years into the 360 life cycle?

Maybe I missed something here, but I don't recall them saying there wont be any more timed delays.
Maybe I'll give it another read, but I'm pretty sure MS has given Activision a nice big bag of cash and a signed contract for timed delays.

This gen hasn't been the longest, maybe for the 360 because MS dumped the original xbox after 4 years.
The ps3 will not reach 5 years untill november , and that's just in north america, it will be 5 years in the EU next spring.
I agree... I see nothing wrong with an online pass if you choose to buy used games, you get your pass for free when you buy new anyway.
Older games, (1 year or older) are always cheap in the bargin bins, I don't see a real reason why people feel the need to buy used games. If you are buying a newer used game, you're only saving maybe $5 or $10.
