On top of that , CC data was encrypted and the ccv was never stored on the psn servers, which makes this very hard to believe.
and yet the ccv still was never stored as they stated to begin with... hackers don't have it.

If this guy is telling the truth , then I think it's more likely that his CC info was stolen from either someone he knows or another sorce. Until Sony can determin whether or not any CC info was stolen in the first place, then it's pure speculation that his CC info even came from Sony.
I am one who probably would never use XGC nor do I really care about it one way or another. But I am not going to say that XGC is not needed or wanted, I think XGC would be a great feature for the ps3. I may not use it (much or at all), but there are a ton of ps3 users the would.So I don't get what the problem is with some people about an added feature that is free and optional to use.
