If Battlefield 3 comes to the consoles and has the jets then Warhawk may finally have some competition.

What do you expect when you're a noob? There are so few players at the moment that a lot of games have been opened up putting noobs against pros.
This is a pain as a number of games are ruined by idiot noobs running around like headless chooks at home base.

Warhawk is the best online console game by far. Even without the fancy bells and whistles of games like MW2, Bc2, Halo.., it's still online pawnage.
Now Dylan, bring us Warhawk 2 with all the fancy bells and whistles.
Gameplay wise it's okay. GG needs to put 4+ mechs in a game as well as include jetpacks, tanks....allow everything in the large maps. Then let the gamers themselves sort the men from the boys.
Players should be allowed to call in an artillery/missile/air strike to take out those pesky mechs.
Even with good games like MW2, BC2, and Halo:Reach and it being an old game....Warhawk is still the most enjoyable and exciting online experience. Simple fun that is withstanding the test of time.
If it only had (1) campaign mode, (2) bots, (3) Sprint function, and (4) modern-cool looking weapons, equipment, vehicles and environments, it would have gone down as one of the all time great shooters.
Warhawk deserves a proper sequel as Killzone got with KZ2....a...

Black 2 is well overdue....and if they, learn from, and make it better than, MW2 and BC2 then the wait will be worth it.
I just want them to get rid of spawn flares.
Okay, I also want the ability to call in air and artillery strikes, huge variety of weapons and customization, IR and thermal goggles for true night combat, retain server lists not match making, improved bot AI so you can rank up playing bots, modern weapons(HK416, MP7, Tavors, etc) as rewards, make all weapons available for players to use, ...
All of these will make KZ3 MP the king of console shooters.
Hip firing was far too accurate. Need to get rid of the cross hair altogether to remedy this problem.
The Move(motion controls) is the future of shooter controllers.....fast aiming pawns analog sticks.
R3 should be an improvement but I have my doubts about Insomniacs motivation for this game based on two things:
* the alternative 1960s setting? Why not simply modern world settings/backdrops/weapons/equ ipment
* Why the crappy narrative, if any, and lack luster menu system/user interface.
Resistance world is a good one but should have been set in modern times...with slick modern weaponry, settings, vehicles, and with equally slick menu syst...
So again, how long has the Move been out?

Okay already. The Move is better. Maybe because Sony had time to improve the technology, you think?
But I will still say that they made a mistake by developing line-of-sight technology(the Glowing ball), rather then putting more research into improving magnetic technology(no Glowing ball).
The current tech is a quick fix to cash in on motion control but magnetic tech is the future. Sony better hope Microsoft doesn't see this....once they are done with ...
Bungie should be bringing a new action/adventure like Uncharted ...especially one where xbox and Ps fanboys can play each other online.

Looks okay for an F1 game. Certainly will buy if it's realistic in damage, physics etc...plus true driver pov. I want to feel i'm actually in the cockpit ... with a helmet on.
But Operation Flashpoint could have been huge if they copied BF2 and MW2 in terms of SP, MP, gameplay, graphics etc but on an epic scale. But they didn't. Too bad.

The Move will be ideally suited for shooters. Now if only IW and Dice would provide a patch for Move for MW2 and BC2. Pawnage.
Just like WW2 shooters, it just doesn't seem appealing to go back to the old battlefields unless they truly recreate the jungle and guerrilla warfare of the Vietnam War.
This just looks like BC2 but with older equipment.

Server lists rock but they need much more details so you can make a fully INFORMED choice of which game to play...having said this, the current KZ2 are okay but could be better.

What they should have done is give more details with the list...eg. custom weapons, time each game, maybe even a list of players and their ranks.
Also, in addition, I wish they would add in missile and artillery strikes like other shooters as they are so cool.

Graphics weren't the main focus for Warhawk.... 32 player multiplayer with vehicles and chaotic hassle-free online gameplay were.
The warhawk engine should be improved else possibly use the Frostbite engine from DICE.....decent graphics, vehicles, destructible environments, man!!!
