I wonder if Sega is staying on track w/ their projected sales of Mario & Sonic at the Olympics given the game's "rave" reviews. Geometry Wars was rated higher than I had expected, as was Tomb Raider Anniversary. Fire Emblem, Dementium, and Folklore scored lower than I had expected tho.

I actually don't think this is solid proof that the Wii is *for* kids, just that kids find it more appealing than the other offerings. Assuming that Amazon isn't dominated by kids, the fact that the Wii is the most-wanted console there isn't necessarily solid proof that the Wii is *for* adults now, is it?
How many games on the 360 or PS3 are kid-friendly?

Ya my gf will only play the Wii also. I think for non-gamers, d-pads are either too intimidating or unnecessarily complicated (ie a waste of time to learn what each button does).

The Wii will never push as many polygons as the PS3 or 360, but proper art design has the ability to make graphical horsepower a moot point.
