"Hopefully they start buying more next-gen systems instead of DSs and Wiis."
Wow, talk about hate. Whatever happened to ppl liking and disliking games instead of platforms?
*sigh*
Anyway, AC6 looks like a great title and Japan obviously thinks so.
Didn't you know? High Velocity Bowling will be in 1080p, run at 60fps, and have dynamic lighting, so it's an AAA next-gen title.
Awesome boots, your trolling has improved since the last time I responded to it. Glad to know I was able to help.

=)
I expected GH3 to fare very well but I did not expect the 360 version to outsell the Wii and PS3 versions by that much. VERY nice. It's obvious that 360-owners still buy the most games, and I don't expect that to change anytime soon.
Though no where near 800k, the Wii version still sold well considering the "Wii owners don't buy games" statements. And 250k for the PS2 version shows that there are still a ton of PS2-owners out there that have yet to buy any of the 3...
Another tired comment from midgard, what's next? Another tired comment exhibiting the same trollish behavior in a different Wii news post? Or will it be another tired comment in a different Wii news post? Or maybe more tired comments in other Wii news posts... I say all of the above. Seems it'll never be over for you.
lol, reminds me of how Ryu's name was completely murdered throughout the entire Street Fighter movie w/ Van Damme and Kylie Minogue.
The movie was wack but still.
Agreed, Mario, Sonic, and the Olympics are big names that the masses simply cannot ignore.
It'd be like if the NBA sold Olympics-edition basketballs w/ a picture of Jordan and Magic painted on them.
You do know that Raving Rabbids, which you are a fan of, is a casual title, right?
Sega has been saying that this game will sell like hotcakes this holiday season but I don't think anyone on this site doubted the fact that it would be a mediocre release. If this game sells a lot of copies, it'll only be due to the Mario, Sonic, and Olympic affiliation.
I don't know if Gamestop has the deal, but pre-ordering Super Mario Galaxy at other places like Target and Best Buy (I think) will get you some limited-edition Mario coin. I pre-ordered my Super Mario Galaxy online for a discount so even though I'm almost certain I won't get it on launch day, I will have the game brand-new for $40.97 total, which is $3 less than what Gamestop will likely charge for a used version of the game.
I find it hilarious that the GBA is still stealing a percentage of the market from the other consoles, enough that it is included in these projections for Nov-Dec.
You hate the Wii because it exposes the truth that casual gaming is perhaps just as popular as traditional gaming? The truth can hurt, but hatred for the console that caters best to that demographic is misguided and frankly a waste of emotion. Do you also hate the PS2 for the success of Eye Toy: Play, Namco Museum, and Singstar?
Casual gaming will not replace "core" gaming as long as demand for those kinds of games exists.
My gf will play the Wii but as soon as I turn on my Xbox or PC for gaming, she calls me a nerd lol.
How will this affect VG Chartz? Does VG Chartz adjust their NA numbers to actual figures whenever NPD data is released?
I like this news actually. I remember back in the day before sales figures were released to the public, ppl actually talked about games. Granted, NPD is only for NA but at least the flamewars resulting from NPD data will occur only quarterly now instead of monthly.
I actually enjoyed my Saturn much more than my PS1 so for some it was definitely a real choice.
My parents bought me a PS1 only because I was spending too much money on Tekken 3 at the arcades playin w/ the other regulars.
Let me know when you get Super Mario Galaxy running on your GameCube then.
I've agreed with and been enlightened by everything you've said in this comment section thusfar. I'm doing my part to get you your 9th bubble.
Worst name for a KH title ever.
Except for its sequel, "Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days 2"
No, that's impossible! I will never get a Wii so I'm subconsciously biased against it and pessimistic toward any upcoming Wii title, therefore the only explanation is that this game was rushed and will be garbage no matter what anyone says!
/end sarcasm
Does NPD care if their paying customers such as IGN release the data to the general public?
