@GeofferyPeterson I agree, competition makes everything better. But there's a reason why O.Rift & P.Morpheus aren't out yet, they're not ready. OR & PM have been in development for years, They're trying to make it so VR is nearly perfect before they release it. What's Samsung objective? Release to market before the competition? If that's the case, what if their VR solution isn't even as good as OR v.1... could that sour VR for the casual market?
Oh it's a weapon, but it's no secret. Neither is the fact that Sony a year ago or more were working with someone for their "cloud computing" solution. Haven't really heard anything on it recently, but If you think either of these guys are gonna let the other get an upper hand... you're mistaken.
I'm sure right now, MS has their Project Morpheus solution ready to be unveiled. They probably also have a Gaikai style streaming service coming as well....

So now it's a BIG DEAL? As @dboyc310 said, GTA4 had months and months of exclusivity for the extra content. COD has had content come out on Xbox months/weeks ahead of playstation for YEARS, you know what PS owners did... they still bought the game.

Ubisoft isn't treating anybody like idiots. They're trying to actually deliver amazing things, they're just falling short.
