Halo 5 is the lowest selling mainline game in terms of actual games sold, EVER, at least for week 1 in the UK. I have a feeling the same will be the case once we get actual NPD numbers.
Real life hype for Halo 5 is very mute. Black Ops 3 is all everyone I know is talking about on and offline.
Translation: Please buy an Xbox One now and don't wait for black Friday and please for the love of god don't buy that damn PS4.
Xbox One with a higher install base than 360 in its same point in life and 2 years into its life cycle.....Halo 5 sold less than half of Halo 3. It's in decline and there's nothing impressive about these sales at all.
There's a huge focus on eSports with Halo 5 so......yeah you would expect that 343 wants the game to have an active streaming community on Twitch.
We'll see where it ends up over time. It could even up being Halo 4 all over again with people ditching Halo 5 for Call Of Duty or other big AAA holiday titles. Or maybe Halo 5 gets great word of mouth over the holiday and it remains relevant. It's a crowded marketplace out there for shooters. Some games just won't ...

Sony's conference made a lot of news and drowned out a lot of Halo 5 coverage in the media It's a genius marketing move/counter-attack.
As of me writing this comment, Halo 5 is not even in the top 10 streamed games on Twitch. It's definitely not seeing a lot of buzz from my point if view. Reviews are also pretty average.
Single player is the main focus, as it should be.
We already know the multiplayer of that won't compete with the Call Of Duties of the world.

It means the Wii U is a flop and that Nintendo is out of touch with what the gaming community wants in a console. Nintendo will be fine though. They can relate flop after flop of a console and still survive as a company. But who cares how much money Nintendo has? It doesn't matter.
Everyone and their mother already knows that PS4 is the more powerful console. There's literally nothing to argue about. This has been proven time and time again and it is not only backed up by specs but by game comparisons by sites like Digital Foundry where the PS4 version of multiplats are always the superior version.
Halo 5 is not coming to PC. This is just common sense.
Halo is only of the only reasons left to own an Xbox One. The day we see Halo on PC is the day Xbox is dead.

There fact is that the PS4 has and always will be seen as the better choice by most. This is why I'm talking about sales. Because momentum = Sales.
A console can't have any momentum if it sells like crap.
Uncharted 4 wasn't ready for release this year. That's why it was pushed back. Sony made the right choice in not rushing that.
Besides its not like PS4 owners don't have anything to play. Between the usual COD/AC/NBA/Madden/FIFA...etc. that release every year.....there's plenty to play. Then there's highly anticipated titles like Battlefront and Fallout 4.

3rd party games are the best and I'm betting they make up 90% of everyones game collection.

....It's not. PS4 has outsold it every single month this year(except for April) and with Octobers price drop, even Halo 5 might not be enough to finally outsell the PS4. Then there's the upcoming Star Wars and Call Of Duty bundles for PS4 in November. Again I ask, how exactly is XB1 building momentum agains the PS4?
