To go more in depth, the article mentions "bullet sponges" oh shit this again, not every damn game has to be like CoD. Sorry but I prefer the "bullet sponges" in UC2 to UC3. UC2 wins there for me.

Not even close, Uncharted 2 Hands down. UC2 has a way better story, and on launch had what I consider probably the best multiplayer of last generation. Uncharted 3 had a story that couldnt touch UC2, had game breaking controls on launch, and had a CoD infested mess of a multiplayer.
Oh and they completely messed up Elena's character model in UC3 lol.
I may have a few, but I wouldnt know, since I have barely turned on my ps4 because Sony doesnt want to support their own damn $150 headset.
Competition is always good. I support Nintendo over Microsoft. At least they give us a unique experience. MS doesnt even know what a 1st party studio is.

Plus I am sure if square could port it over they would have. Either A. its a pain with the past proprietary Sony architecture and possibly not worth the money spent to do it or B. it is some sort of contractual restriction.

Now yes, I have a problem with micro transactions in a creation game. The new LBP advertised made me feel the same way. I have spent 100's of hours on PS3 just designing levels, and to be limited to how much money I spend over the course of time, would be extremely frustrating.

Nintendo is lacking in the 3rd party support, as far as how good the system is. That is the main problem as far as a good console is concerned. Yah, you cannot really compare modern shooters to past ones. It takes no skill to get a kill now days. I think people expect 100 million units for everything, the psp was even considered a flop by many, and that sold a ton of units. Nintendo made money on all of its consoles and other then the wii, none have done great numbers. So it is possible to have successful products without selling a ton of units. That said I do not think the Vita is one of them. Sony has sunk to many resources and to much money into it.

Well Amy wrote Uncharted 2, and it was amazing! Uncharted 3 had many problems story wise, they were not even sure Claudia Black or Emily Rose would be there for their roles (Elena and Chloe) so the story was kind of strung together. Emily Rose even almost had them kill off Elena. So their were a lot of outside problems. Not that I disagree, UC3 was a huge let down for me, but that was a tech problem. It is hard to pick a single game from the entire generation. I think its a much more viable argument though, that Naughty Dog were the best developers of the generation.
I actually agree with Mestre, this does not help gaming. They cant even get past lag problems in regular games, how the hell are you going to stream an entire game. Not to mention, the U.S. is no where near the forefront of internet speeds. Maybe in Korea this would be pretty flawless, over here, no way in hell it is going to be a smooth process.

I stand by my saying, if you did not realize this, then you clearly did not have the intelligence to truly appreciate the brilliance that was this game. Sure you may have still enjoyed it, but I am willing to bet most the the game went way over your head.

You do make a lot of great points, at the same time, you clump all console manufacturers together. Should I group Steam, Origin, Uplay ect. into one category? You act like ps+ is a rip off.. I will take my plethora of games for $50. If I ever decide to get a Vita, I do not even need to buy a game, I already have almost a dozen from PS+ and that will continue to grow. Hell Bioshock Infinite and DMC are free this month, I will play both. PS+ offers value just as Steam ...
Consoles DO NOT typically sale 80 million... Lol in fact excluding Sony consoles (Nintendo handhelds if you count them as a console), last gen was the only time any other company even got close to that number.
At the same time though, I do not think steam machines will succeed either. To me it is similar to the Vita, as in they are going after a very niche market. So maybe they will have some small success (they do not have to have complete separate support for it, like Sony...

The headset is awesome man, I do not even have any other audio for my systems (play on monitor), and I use the headset for my PC and PS3, it is comfortable (heard some say its not, I wear a hat 24/7 dunno if that makes a difference), it sounds great, and OMG, The Last of US is ridiculous with the headset and TLOU download, its insane.
