The Xperia will never be big until they actually release it to other carriers. Verizon especially, seeing as how it is the largest. I do not know a single person that owns an Xperia and 95% of them do not even know what one is.
I agree, I loved the alternate universe of Resistance. I just hope Sony does not put all their eggs in this basket. I swear the mass market money lure fucks over games.
Resistance, amazing game, got fucked because they wanted it to be mass market, so went for that appeal. Mp and Single player, mp especially. Uncharted, got fucked, single player was meh (for a ND game), MP was a cluster fuck saying it nicely. Last of Us, amazing game, now a sequel is going to come because it d...
This will probably be their big blockbuster for the holidays, which is weird, because it is not from a big time Sony studio. We gamers know Ready at Dawn, but the masses do not. Hopefully Sony actually throws a big marketing budget behind it. Almost all their 1st party studios make great games, then sale like meh.
Titan Fall will most likely effect X1 sales more then every exclusive Sony has this year.. MS is 10x better at marketing then Sony, and Titan Fall is another CoD mass market money maker. Which sucks, I wanted the shooter genre to refresh and actually change this gen.
I almost bought a Gamecube too, but it was still months away and ps2 was there and I was young and wanted something rite then. Oh how that would have sucked lol. Dark Cloud 2 and Shadow of the Colossus are two of my favorite games of all time, and I would of missed them. That is not even counting games like GoW, GTA III, Okami, Kingdom Hearts, Rogue Galaxy, ok, I am done because I could go on forever lol.
He is in Diamond league, but people watch him for his personality. I find him quite annoying myself. Plus he got popular when the game was younger still.
He is a popular League of Legends streamer, not a pro player either. He has a die hard fan base and is very outspoken. Similar to Destiny in SC2 if that helps any.
Skype sucks, I have heard good things about mumble. I use Dolby Axon though and love it, it works for my small group of friends and me. Set up a permanent room, so anyone can hop in whenever, works well for us.
@MetaReapre
I think the common thought on indie games is that they are of less quality. I think that is changing, but it takes time. I love indie games. f2p on the other hand carries a really bad stigma, and I actually agree, a lot of f2p games ruin the experience because they are f2p. That is not to say it cannot be done right, hell I have played LoL for almost 3 years now.
Wow, lol, was not expecting that. Do I need to really go find all the links to 360 vs ps3 exclusive titles and their meta critic scores? It was a joke, yet how many units did the 360 move? SHOULD I really bring up the wii and its sales? Okay, I think my point is proven.
@Gribble
Yah there are always exceptions, like I said, every person I know that interacts with me on a regular basis owns a ps3 and has since launch, so we do influence the rest like you said.
Really? I do not think the mass market thinks twice about quality games, nor how many quality games are on the console they buy.
It is a snowball effect, especially now days with online. Once a couple friends have something, everyone else joins them. Everyone I know has a ps3 because of that, even the ones that just play CoD. Maybe you get some people that buy a console for a specific game, once again quality not accounted for.
I would like to say I am glad to hear this, but I am not really sure. Every game does not need multiplayer, but 2 of my favorite 3 competitive shooters from last gen were on games that didnt "need" multiplayer.
Probably because they were not the CoD infestation that is every other shooter. Uncharted 2 mp blew me away, and I was not expecting or asking for it. Last of Us mp was a blast, a refreshing change of pace.
Still, this news will not change ...
Add Last Guardian to that list as well
Call of Duty has ruined the first person shooter genre... Every single shooter made is CoD infested.
I really do hope this game is good for the xbox gamers, I must say though, I lost all faith in Insomniac long ago.
Lol I doubt SSM set down and was like hey lets put up old builds on our website. SSM is a huuuge ass company, it would be easy for something to get mixed up. SSM has their own games in development, they also assist a massive amount of games being made with other studios. Ready at Dawn is one of them, do you really think the person who put it up at SSM is that tight nit with The Order's development? I think a lot of people do not realize how many projects SSM have their fingers dipped into...
I kind of agree actually, it is way more difficult to tell a difference from a streamed video. Get a direct feed or hell play the game itself, that is where you really notice. Most games for me, watching a video on the internet does it no justice to how it is when I am playing it.
To that same point, 60fps and 30fps to me is less on how it looks, and more on how it feels while I am playing it. I can Feel the difference in frame rates more then I can see it. I am willing to b...
Could not agree more my friend! There are a ton of them on Playstation.. Gamers bitch and rant about how there are never any new ips or original games, then turn around and spend all their money on CoD and Assassins every year.
I thought so too, until I discovered what was probably the best mp this generation. Arguably one of the most competitive too, in the sense of how much skill is required. UC2 was absolutely amazing mp wise, definitely a game I miss.
How about a way to make all parties happy, let this team make a new game, a fresh new wonderful experience. Then after UC4 is done (no more please, love UC but no more), that team makes a sequel to TLoU.
Come on people stop bitching about getting nothing new then wanting the best team in the business to pump out sequels. If it were up to you people we would of never had TLoU, especially that late in a consoles life cycle.
