How many people would spend $400 on a console?
I'm pretty sure Nintendo hires competent market analysts to help them make their decisions. They also have to access the risk of failure. They would have lost more if people didn't buy it at that price point.
What are you talking about. You should add if the a Switch has a high failure rate. If that's the case where's your data to back that up? How many users are affected by these issues?

I have a gaming PC, PS3, PS4, Wii, 3DS, Vita, and a Switch. I love my Switch. It doesn't have to be as powerful as the other consoles, it competes by being unique.
There is enough room for the different consoles. Less competition is bad for us all. Enjoy what you have and let others enjoy what they have. Stop being a fanboy.

I have the issue but I'm not raving mad about it. Nintendo is fixing/replacing mine. I just hope I don't lose my save files.
What are you talking about? Many have acknowledged the issue. What doesn't help are people trashing the console because of launch problems that all tech is susceptible to.
It really does feel like some people want Nintendo to fail and I think it's sad. I don't want any of the console manufacturers to fail because we as gamers would have less choice and variety.
This is what the gaming industry needs less of. Putting others down for their close in gaming console. As someone who owns both Sony and Nintendo consoles I say the Switch is amazing.
I have issues with my Switch but I'm not bitching about it because Nintendo is replacing/fixing it. Every piece of tech launches with issues. The iPhone has had several issues and yet tons of people buy it because Apple takes care of those issues.

I have a bent switch and Nintendo's customer service is taking care of the issue. I don't think this issue is widespread but it sucks if you're one of those experiencing it.
I'm missing my Switch now though as I have to wait a week until they repair or replace it.

Nintendo haters, if there is money to be made Bungie will port it to the Switch. However, I don't think this game will come to the Switch.

You must be psychic. Visually I loved Breath of the Wild. I thought the graphics worked perfectly. A lot of Zelda games loved Windwaker (I haven't played it yet and that gave us far from realistic.
Stop pretending that Nintendo fans crave realism in their games. I think realism in games is what drove me away from gaming (I speak only for myself).
As for what I we paid for the Switch. I found value in the Switch, enough for me to justify spending $300 ...
I actually use mine more as a console.
@Dan_scruggs thanks for the videos you posted. Horizon Zero Dawn looks amazing but the physics in the game is laughable. She can kill machines with her sword but can't cut down grass, or trees. She apparently doesn't leave footprints anywhere and there are no splashes in bodies of water.
It makes me sad that fanboys won't acknowledge the level of detail in BotW because they are narrow-minded self-centered dbags who can't see past their hatred of anything Nin...
