TheColbertinator I don't think Nintendo will lose much from not catering specifically to them. Nintendo can target a market of casual to moderate gamers who don't take everything so seriously. Maybe it's my experience here, but I'm beginning to see why I skipped gaming and sites like these.

Instead of celebrating that we have so many platforms to choose from, "hardcore" gamers spend a lot of energy bashing each other. All I see is Xbox sucks, Ninte...

Who claimed Indies are masterpieces? There are very good ones like GEM (I LOVE this game), and Mr Shifty but certainly no masterpieces yet.

You left out ARMS which I think will be a hit.

Up until June/July the Switch it's getting a first party game every month so I don't see how you think the library will be thin. E3 is also around the corner so I'm sure there'll be more announced for the rest of the year.

Don't w...

Lol what were you expecting after a month?

I don't care if they don't market to "hardcore" gamers. Most of them are whiny, entitled man babies.

I hope for a few. But I have my PC for multiplatform games. Switch and PS4 are my first party machines. Having said this, I prefer having indie games and AAA third party games on the Switch. Portability and local multiplayer are important factors for me.

cha0sknightmare First of all your use of the phrase glass ceiling confused me. I don't think it means what you think it means. Secondly Nintendo systems do get "adult" games. They may not always be first party but they're there.

I'll use the Wii for example since I skipped the Wii U. It has No More Heroes, Mad World, Metroid, House of the Dead, Resident Evil. Those are some of the games I got. I'd argue that the console Zelda games are mostly adu...

People forget that all consoles suffer a drought when they first launch. With the indie games coming out for the Switch I think Nintendo had actually done a great job.

Well it's unfortunate that you didn't like it, I think combat in the game is fantastic.

Fine the PS2 was more powerful than the Dreamcast, but the Xbox and Gamecube were graphically superior to the PS2. By the end of that generation (of the consoles left standing) the PS2 was the weakest.

For those doubting Gamecube being more powerful than PS2:

"I can find the warm doublet which warms you to a point but there's no way to climb while raining"
Have you tried climbing a rock face when it rains? I wouldn't recommend it.

"I simply can't care enough about anyone in the game as a result because there's no emotion coming from any of the characters."

I agree with you here. The limited voice acting is weird, I wish Nintendo would have given voices to all the NP...

The N64 was graphically superior to the PS2 and yet the PS2 dominated. It's not about safety and that Nintendo fans are easily satisfied, Nintendo games are just really really good. What Nintendo games lack in graphical power (even though I personally don't think it's a very drastic difference from competitors) they make up for in gameplay and story (mostly gameplay).

As a PC, PS4, and Nintendo gamer, in my opinion, Nintendo games are just way more polished than...

I'm pretty sure the built in speaker draws more power than the average headphones.

The best portable isn't determined by per. You should know this. The PS2 won its generation and it was the least powerful of the three.

porkChop the Vita was a great handheld. I love mine very much. I just got Tearaway and Muramasa demon blade for it.

Lol you said since the Vita... The 3DS handily beat the Vita.

I wish Sony fans would remember the PS2 when they argue about how underpowered the Switch is. It was the weakest of the three.
