Any proof for your claim? Or do you just spew garbage all the time?
This argument makes no sense. Do you think Nintendo's investors would tolerate them holding back Switch production? Nintendo had to answer to investors like every other company.
They said they would ship 2 million Switches at launch, and ended up selling 2.7 million (more than any other console's first month). Does that seem like something they would do if they were holding back sales?
It would have cost over a grand if it came out in 2009. I don't think you get how technology works.
An I missing something? How many great games did PS4 or Xbox One have one month in?
You mean kinda like how the comments section of N4G are degraded because you are the least common denominator?
I guess you forget that Nintendo doesn't only market to hardcore gamers. With Nintendo directs they can target both casual and hardcore players.
My casual gaming friends don't know what E3 is, but the ones with Switches watch the Nintendo directs (on their Switches or 3ds).
Well I didn't realize it and that was my mistake. You're right though, it is irrelevant.
Right because gaming consoles get you laid. You're pathetic...
Do you have proof that they stopped production of the Switch?
If you read the article you'd understand the title. You should try it.
What? If Sony exclusives came out on other consoles, their console wouldn't be sustainable. Obviously people buy Nintendo consoles for the exclusive games.
ruefrak at this point everyone has multiple devices to watch media on. They don't really need one more.
I have a $30 Chromecast that I can launch Netflix on anytime I want (from desktop, laptop, phone, or tablet). A lot of people have smart TVs with Netflix built in.
You're complaining about media features that most people have an over abundance of.
ruefrak no nothing you claim is obvious. The article you linked simply shows the pros and cons of curated by noon curated eShop.
You say the Switch is the 3rd console to launch without major 3rd party support. It's not even 2 months old yet. What ridiculous metric are you using?
I have 5 switch games and only 1 of them is from Nintendo. I think that's pretty good for it's first month.
You PMd me then blocked me (how pathetic). I just figured out that you're probably 12 years old. Either that or you're uneducated. Either way, I feel sorry for you...
Anyway in response to your PM:
Taken from the actual financial report: "The sales volume for hardware and software
during this period reached 2.74 million units and 5.46 million units respectively."

How exactly does Nintendo not help others make money on their console? How do you figure that they feel 3rd parties should be grateful for the privilege of putting games on their system? You should support your arguments in some way.
The Wii made Nintendo lots of money, what the hell are you going on about. The Wii also was not sold at a loss. Please research things before you comment.
As for Nintendo needing "mature" games, games are meant to be fun. Some people find blood and gore in games fun, others find gameplay and a good story fun. Nintendo has done fine for many years with their style of games I don't see a reason for them to change now. They can let 3rd party developers fill the &...
InTheZoneAC not that it has anything to do with my statement, but no I have never owned a Wii U.
"Try before you buy" is a suggestion, not a point being made. "The Switch is lame" is an opinion, not a valid point. So what valid point did he make?
InTheZoneAC when did I discredit his point? Also what makes it valid? It's just an opinion there is nothing to validate.
I agree. I was one of those who didn't get a Wii U. I'd love to see some of it's games ported to the Switch.
I'm a Nintendo fan, but didn't buy the Wii U because I didn't like the system. It's not hard to imagine that even Nintendo fans can make a choice not to by a system right?
Maybe because Nintendo had been successful in the portable market... I see you're not too bright.
