That's the problem with a cluttered genre, everything starts looking run-of-the-mill. It all starts looking the same, but is a game like Halo really all that different from Resistance or COD4? Not really. It's all about refinement and KZ2 seems to have that down in spades. Cover-system and all, this game looks like the fundamentals and presentation are down. Now it's just a matter of pacing, multiplayer and overall AI/ Difficulty. We'll see if they can pull it off!
When NGII flopped, who were the first ones to put out a good review and videoreview defending the game? IGN. NGII is a X360 exclusive. When Haze flopped, who rushed to scoring the game lower than Blacksite Area 51 (a non-funtional game) and criticized the slightest things including the individual vehicle horn sounds? IGN. It was the same issues that happened with R&C Future when Gamespot had the sport-fanatic review a platform title. When it's not their type of game, they don't review all that well, we all know that.

As for this, come on, are you people taking this seriously? Honestly, these guy's are affiliated with a website that was ready to tell Kojima to "eat a d!ck" for not bringing MGS4 to 360. We all know EGM is going to give this game like a "B-" because they hate PS3 and hate the fact they don't get this game on 360.

...must buy like Far Cry 2. Sure, Resistance 2 may be the PS3's big FPS exclusive, but when it comes to fall shooter gaming, it's all about Far Cry 2 for me. I can hold off on my FPS gaming while playing MGS4 (june) and Valkyria Chronicles (august) until October arrives.

you know they're thrashing this, along with EGM. Exactly for the reason that the past story you've shown displays. They hate PS3 and only care for 360. 1up sucks, and I've lost respect for EGM.
When it comes to reviews, for me, it's all about Game Informer and Gamepro. I lost faith in Gametrailers due to all those fudging ridiculous comparison vids. Problem with those is the contrast settings, everyone (outside of PoG/Mart/Crab) knows it, even other X-bots.

Story's basic, but okay. The screen-tearing seen throughout vid gameplay is very alarming. I'll keep this on the radar, though October/November are probably prep/play Resistance 2 months so, this is probably a no.
