OKAY....seriously. THere is a real hatred for me on this site now a days by mods. I say basically the same thing that 10-15 others BELOW me say and yet I'm the only one that gets reported for spam. SCREW THAT.
That said, I reply to this statement for 2 reasons. One, cause it's easy to see my "spam" reply. And two, because this is so true. The Micronoobs cry for MGS4 now after constantly denying being envious of the PS3 owners for getting it. Sad really...
They also give Bungie a free pass with horrible campaigns and stories and all...but why mention that? I mean, that's an XBOX exclusive! The media can't touch that one!

It is good the 360 is getting some solid JRPGs and all. Good for it's gamers, but I'm sorry to say that it just helps me laugh all the more harder when these games come out and the 360 still only sells 7,500 units a month in Japan.
With that said, I can't believe the fanboyism of 1up...can't wait for their MGS4 review *rolls eyes*
Well, couldn't be any worse than how George Romero has taught us to plan for the apocalypse. Seriously, if people were that dumb in light of the world being taken over by zombies, we would all deserve to die. Hopefully commonsense prevails with this title. I may pick it up for PC, but I hate FAT MAN GABE. Stupid whinny, lazy, fat bum of a developer.
Best PSP platformer and God of War was excellent. Hope they don't stray too far, they are very talented.
This is my most anticipated title of 2008. The first Motorstorm was amazing and this one looks quite the same. But with great multiplayer and more value, this title is a lock to compete for the top spot in the arcade racer genre (not simulation like GT5P or Forza 2).
I think he needs to be banned to the OPEN ZONE. MODS!!!!
When you consider Kojima's recent teasing of the 360, do you really believe MGS will ever see the light of day on that console in any form?

As an RPG gamer first and foremost, I'm actually taking this over Fallout 3, R2 and Motorstorm this November. I can't wait for this game!
Funny stuff. It certainly is doing poorly. I really do believe that NGII will go down as one of the bigger flops of 2008, despite being an alright game. It was supposed to be so much more and didn't live up to the hype. Say what you want about being able to look beyond a poor camera, framerate and design, but in the real world those issues had to be mentioned. And outside of IGN, they have been, hence this game's low scores.

It comes down to execution. Unfortunately, Microsoft themselves were already doing damage control for this game saying that they won't drop Silicon Knights if the game doesn't live up to the hype. I really see this as a flop a little more of the Heavenly Sword variety (close but no cigar).

I'm jealous of anyone who has this game right now. But I'll wait for my midnight launch in a couple days. Good things come to those who wait and quite frankly, I've been waiting a long time for this. It's going to be awesome!
