I despise DLC which offers nothing but aesthetic content. I dont want maps or guns or characters or outfits or stupid things which dont do anything to further the game.
More campaign missions are the best type of DLC available and ones worth purchasing.
Borderlands handles DLC the best imo. Each campaign DLC is packed full of content, sometimes more than other games full retail games offer.

Disney owns Marvel entirely, as well as the Avenger films and games. Fox owns the Fantastic Four and X-Men films. Sony owns Spider-Man films. Activision owns the license to make video-games based on the movies.

Oh and Traveller's Tale (TTGames), owned by Warner Bros, rivals of Marvel/Disney were allowed to make a Lego Marvel Superheroes games.
