I prefer what films use, the 5 star system. Its alot simpler, and it differentiates alot between the individual scores, such as a 3/5 is a playable game with a few problems (in my opinion), as opposed to a 6/10 which is the exact same fraction, yet seems like trash when used for todays reviews.
If games want to be treated as art and respectable like films, then why not adopt the same reviewing system.

Guerilla was awesome. I dont know how well it fits in the Red Faction series, but as a game on its own, was balls to the walls fun.
I wanna see another game where you can destroy ANYTHING man-made in the world.

I didnt like Darksiders 2. Was a dissapointing letdown for me after DS1. Just felt bloated, too big and empty, overly complex loot system and the mission structure was basically fetch quests in needing to find 3 of each things.
Wish they would go back to DS1's gameplay.
But yes to Red Faction: Guerilla 2. Armageddon was balls.

Ubisoft is nothing like Activision or EA.
Lesser of three evils, sure, but they sure make a helluva lot more ambitious titles than rehashing the same crap every year. (And before you bark like a dog, AC isnt included in that example as each game provides us with entirely new setting, characters, story, and refinement in gameplay)
They showed exactly what what was being delivered on the gameplay front. Whether it was challenging or not is purely subjective and based on the consumer, not the product itself.
People cry from the hills when games are slightly downgraded to the point where you wouldnt remember the differences between the game you currently play and how it looked in the E3 demo from months before, yet are perfectly happy in buying slapped together McDonalds burgers when the advertising shows something different.
And yet people buy it. Why? For the taste, not the looks. Games should be the same, gameplay, not the graphics.
Nothing will ever meet peoples overly-high expectations of anything.
I dont know why people continue to "hype" themselves, when just a few weeks, or even days later theres a barrage of comments along the lines of "it was shit, returned it the next day, cant wait for the next game!", time and time again.
