Westerners, eh?

I dunno.

Watch closely to the videos and you see how the other enemies stab and attack you even while you're fighting someone else off, and also i noticed the character limping when the enemy kicked him in the leg.

Perhaps there are variations in difficulty for enemies, but I feel like more than a few will be overwhelming whereas one or two will be easy.

The changes they've made to the game are astounding. Combat really does look tough, before you could take on 20 guys and walk away, now it seems like 3 or 4 is going to be a challenge.

And they've revamped the stealth mechanic a heck of a lot which is great to see.

Parkour system looks much better and now works with what the players desire rather than against it.

Ubisoft has direct oversight and control over the film, unlike in the past where you simply hand over the license to someone random director who doesnt know what the game is about.

I have high hopes for this one, especially with Fassbender.

Ubisoft has confirmed it wont be a direct adaptation, but an entirely new chapter set within the same universe.

That way you dont have to worry about drawing too much from the game and pissing off the fans due to minute discrepancies, but also making it accessible for non-fans and regular film goers.

That character design looks badass

Similarities to AC I have no problem with.

Hell, you could even give him an alternative costume which uses the AC robes.

Ezio himsefl was included in Bandai Namco's Soul Calibur so dont see why not.

I loved Revelations. AC3 was very good, i think people confuse disappointment with shit, however.

All the games have been quality titles which makes me wonder if theyre so good, and people keep buying them, why stop making them?

Baffles me so.

I understand the need to hate AC because thats the cool thing to do now apparently, but if you really want them to stop making it, stop buying it.

I love the series, however if they were to take a break, i would not be upset in the slightest.

It seems like you cant please everyone.

IF they had cross-gen Unity, people would get pissed that its going to get held back by last gen.

So what do they do? Create two seperate titles, appeasing both old gen and new gen owners without any hold backs.

People say its the same, but this is the first time we play as a Templar, and again, new location, new setting, new time period, new characters, new protagonist, new story.

Peop...

Well they explain he was once an Assassin, hence the hood, robes and hidden blade, but wouldve been cool to see the Templars get a uniform of their own.

Massive. Imagine how they're going to top this with the next one!

Not playable, and she was always there to begin with, feminist BS or not.

Don't buy it if you dislike it. No one's going to care.

I honestly dont think t was added post-controversy.

Ive been watching behind the scenes footage of the game, and they clearly show the voice acting, modelling and in-game cut scenes of her, which shows she was developed long ago and is an integral part of the story, not something added just last week.

Perhaps they tailor made this specific trailer to appease those who moronically assume Ubisoft sexist, but Elise surely is a developed character (which wouldnt ...

Gamers have ADHD.

Its the only conclusion I have come up with, unfortunately.

4329d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

TBH, I people like AC more for its story, setting and characters rather than its gameplay. The gameplay, while nothing special, works for furthering the story.

I have a feeling this wont have a happy ending though.

Climax would probably be for Arno to save the woman he loves, or kill her to free all of France (as she's a templar).

Would be cool if the player could choose the outcome.

4329d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

...its been selling like fire without it, and its up to Ubisoft, or whatever developer, to add playable female characters in games or not.

Uncharted never had playable females outside of MP, maybe we should call ND sexist too?

I agree. I dont know why people are taking offense to a fictionalised visual retelling of real world mass murders...when real world mass murders are occurring even in today's society.

Because its N4G where 90% of "news" is trash.
