Yep, and is why I think this will blow Dead Rising away for me. Especially Dead Rising 2 with having to constantly bring your daughter Zombrex at specific times... just ugh. They give you this playground, yet limit how long you can run around and play in it. Worst design choice ever and hurt the experience more than it ever helped it.

Buy the regular edition, buy art book later on ebay and then watch the making of DVD all you want shortly after launch on Youtube. Problem solved and money saved.

The first one was pretty good, but this looks so much better. Getting a huge Soul Reaver vibe, and the added RPG elements are a major plus as well. Very bad ass looking game.
An open world RPG with combat similar to GOW? Sounds like a winning formula to me. However, from what I have seen, the combat does not really look similar at all. It has it's own (and very good, I might add) animations and move sets. The spell casting in particular looks fantastic.
Good deal. I recently really enjoyed the budget game, The First Templar and this looks much better. Looking forward to it.
I just joined a few weeks ago because I thought it was such a great deal for both services. I'll probably just cancel altogether come next month and just go back to ordering a movie on PPV every now and then.
Looks like they turned it into Modern Gangsta Warfare. I prefer the old west setting and think that was the one thing the series had that made it stand out. Regardless, the single player looks like it might be a decent rental at best. We shall see.

Yep, it is sitting on my Gamefly Queue as we speak. I am tired of paying $60.00 for every game that I have interest in. There are many games that I really want to play, but just see no need to own. This is one of those titles. Games with meat, like Dark Souls, Skyrim and The Witcher 2 are what constitute buys for me... day one buys.
You know what I think? I think some people over analyze and take video games WAY too fucking seriously. I mean, here we have someone trying to break down and pick apart a character like Duke Nukem, for crying out loud. A character who is the way he is on purpose. You are not supposed to take him seriously, so... why so serious?

LOL, nah. Even Demon's Souls did not piss me off. It's strange, it just made me obsessively want to get better because it was just so damn rewarding. I really can't say that for any other game, to be honest.
I was looking forward to having some time with this before Dark Souls on October 4th, but oh well. Once I start playing Dark Souls I will not be touching anything else until Skyrim hits in November. Between those two games, plus The Witcher 2, which is also supposed to release at the end of the year on the 360, I doubt I'll find the time for Rage. It is just going to have to wait.

I am not a fan of COD either, but I had a feeling this game would end up not living up to the hype. Plays like ass and looks average at best on consoles. Don't kid yourselves just because you wanted it to be the greatest shooter ever... because it's not. Not even close.
