you can't, you missed out. August 6th was the cut-off for launch pre-orders. Amazon is currently sold out of all stock and other retailers I'm not sure about. But Sony said August 6th was the launch day cut-off
Honest question, does anyone really WANT Kinect!? I know I don't, I have absolutely no interest in using a camera to play a game.
I'm 28, I work hard, I workout 5 days a week, the last thing I want to do is flail around when I'm doing an activity I do to relax.
I'm glad Sony is giving me the option, $399 is perfect for me to enjoy gaming and only gaming.

Doesn't even matter to be honest. What's a week early compared to a week or 2-3 late? They have their pre-orders set, as do PS4. The difference is negligible, it's about who has consoles available AFTER their launch is who is going to benefit.

With that said, I'd NEVER in my life switch to mobile gaming on a tablet. I hate handhelds, I enjoy my couch, a simple remote, a nice sound system and a big HDTV.
Although I'm sure someday we'll have tablets that do wireless streaming to TV's as phones can do today. Use the tablet as a secondary screen ala the Vita.

Seriously? They offered the ability to upgrade games...you could buy any game for PS3 and play it endlessly and change to PS4. Yes, it's more expensive, but you have an option if you're so worried about it.

Um, the PS3 was a Blu-ray player AND a PS2 all in one. Blu-ray players at the time for hundreds and hundreds dollars. The PS3 actually wasn't a bad price, it was just VERY expensive for a console.
