Chocolate chip please.
Just go play with a console, nobody but rich tech nerds upgrade every GPU refresh. Most people keep cards for 3-6 years before upgrading. Not to mention you can take your cards and sell them on Ebay and get hundreds in return.
I could sell my SLI 560ti's today for probably $200 or so on Ebay. I paid $460 for them almost 3 years ago and they still max out pretty much every game.

Why are consoles consistently compared to PC's? It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. You've got consoles with a static architecture, of course PC's will always be ahead.
Hell, AMD is releasing a card that run 3 damn monitors by itself for $599 and Nvidia, there next gen is going to be simply insane with 5+ teraflops of power.
Just accept it, PC's are far more powerful, it's not even an argument.
32 xbox ones? Almost as powerful as my PC! LOL I kid I kid, just disagree and move on people :)
This would be a fun experience to be part of.

Wow that's a huge difference!! Looks way better
hahahaha Killzone SF looks amazing but is not better than Crysis 3 gtfo
I used my tax return because I was in college. I could have spent far less but back then I didn't know as much as I do now. I spared no expense, the point was a good PC is not much more than a console and can last a long time if you're ok not upgrading (like a console)
And to echo what star child said. I paid $10-20 for the majority of my games. arkham asylum, just cause, GTA iv etc. Some less than $10
Wow this ridiculous PC generalization of $3000 PC's that we tear apart and rebuild every year just to blow cash is simply ridiculous.
I have one of the best quad cores (i5 2500k), 2TB HDD, 120GB SSD, beautiful see through case, SLI 560 TI's, Wireless cards, top end 950 watt PSU (for future upgrades), 8GB vengeance DDR3
There is literally nothing I'm missing in my PC. It's got HDMI out, hooked to a 50" Panasonic 3DTV @ 1080p. I play litera...
lucky you powerVR
Since I upgraded to windows 8 Steam no longer loads bioshock infinite, far cry 3, GTA IV, arkham asylum, alan wake and a bunch of others I forget I even have.
First intuition to anyone is "drivers, PC, GPU" or some other issue. Nope, Witcher 2 runs perfectly, as does just cause 2 which oddly is a Steam game. It's frustrating as hell and I'm about ready to completely re-install Windows in a hope that something fixes it.
I hate Windows, especially windows 8. What a mistake "upgrading" to that trash OS. I'm all for a simple OS for gaming
Hahahahaha PS4 fanboys...
"bu bu bu the GDDR5!!!!!"
They're still clueless
Looking really good! This might be what I switch to here soon. I have 560TI in SLI and they're GREAT cards I just want more power haha.
I'm leaning towards the x280 I just don't know if a single one of those would be an improvement or not. Need some details before I bite and buy anything.
never thought about that, you're probably right. I'll wait for details to use it on my pc
But what if VALVE makes a deal to bring SteamOS to consoles...that would be awesome.
I have a PC but i am interested in how this will work as I use my computer already connects to my TV
lmao console kids are hilarious...that dude needs a life haha. When GTA V comes to PC, I'll sit on my couch with a CONTROLLER and play in front of either my 50" Pioneer Kuro or my 50" Panasonic 3D. Depends on if I want to use 3D or not...if it's supported.
Haha child, no, nobody buys DISK based PC games, everyone purchases off steam. I own 25 PC game roughly and have TWO games I bought on disk, crysis 3 and BF3. I only did that because I got deals at best buy.
Might want to google the word contradict tough guy.
you just completely contradicted yourself. You just said it looked "last gen" and now say it looks "gorgeous"
I have a day-one pre-order for PS4 and am very excited. But wow, just wow, I really have no idea where you kids get these ideas in your head. Can a PC output Killzone Shadowfall? Are you f'ing kidding me?
I could buy a GPU for $599 and have 2.5 times the computational power of a PS4. You seriously think a PC with 2.5 times the GPU power and a CPU (Mines a 2500K at 4.5Ghz) couldn't out-do a PS4?
WAKE UP! Lmao
