Unfortunately, I have MK8 for Wii U and played it to death, and I bought Zelda BOTW for Wii U, so I don't need a Switch just yet. Zelda is the best game I have played in years, and MK8 is AMAZING!
Okay, um, technically yes Wii Sports did sell all of those copies, but it was packaged in with Wii. It is not like people picked a Wii up, and purchased Wii Sports as a stand alone. It wasn't until later when other bundles came out, and did not have Wii Sports.

Oh please, Bayonetta 2, looks and runs fantastic on Wii U. Switch Has more umph than the Wii U, so I am sure it would be able to run the game without losing much especially with XB1, being the bar for ports. Stop including Wii U, Nintendo stupidly made them extremely hard to get even before production ended. You do not see Wii U in store any longer. Glad I have one, and LOVE it, BOTW is amazing even on Wii U. Sadly you will not see a BOTW Wii U bundle.
Have you not learned that is not cool? Why would you get the illegal copy that you cant really play on the go? Just get the battery adaptor or if you are like most of us, use one you already have for your Cell phone, that gives you another 3 hours, and you probably already have one.
I for one never like console emulated games, on PC they never seem quite right.
I agree with you to a point, but Wii U, definitely has more power than PS360. Games like BOTW, Xenoblade X, MK8, show that. In the video textures for this game are much improved.
I just bought my XB1, because Switch did not have any games I had to have, I bought BOTW(most fun I have had gaming in years) for my Wii U and have MK8 (another FANTASTIC game). I really like XB1, and Games With Gold, has given me some great games over the past few months. Made it more than worth $24.95 for 3 months. Fantastic game, best of all time? Probably not. GOTY probably! This guy plays differently than I do. I have 14 Shrines, 4 or 5 towers and a handful of sidequests done, and I have like 20 hours in. There are 120 shrines alone!
As far as I am concerned Nintendo won, not at all by numbers, but with BOTW. Fantastic game!!! I do not have a Switch so I dusted off my Wii U. Would like to see another patch for Wii U, frames rates could be better in certain areas.

In September Nintendo is releasing a completely new story in the world, via DLC. Wonder how many hours it will take, and what it will be. What a fantastic game. There are also some beautiful moments in the game, like standing on top of a mountain over looking a lake at sunset...Stunning!
I love my Wii U, though my many hundreds of hours spent with it are coming to an end. BOTW is an absolutely fantastic game, and I bought it for Wii U. I am waiting for games that are not on Wii U, before I pick up a Switch. Of coarse when I do finally try and pick one up, I wont be able to find one...LOL
