I think you are wrong. I do not think the sales on home consoles are in any way going to be what they used to. Oh sure there will be people like us that run out and pick one up day one, but not the general public. I can not wait for PS4, but allot of my friends are pretty happy with their PS3's. Look around you. People, like my friends are much more excited about the newest cell phone or tablet. Kids are now asking for those instead of consoles. So yeah, mark my words, Microsoft, no...
I would not count a Wii U version out, but the one thing Nintendo does not seem to get, not all of us like handhelds. I do not want to carry around a cell phone, and a handheld. I am kind of thinking about picking up a 3DS though, and I have not had a portable since GBA. I never thought about getting one till the XL came out.
Still more powerful than what other consoles have to offer right now, but Nintendo, you failed to really show that off. You should have had a real flagship title at launch. I love the Wii U, and I like Nintendoland, and NSMBU, BUT common! IF you would have released a bitchin Zelda, Or Smashbros at launch, with graphics and gameplay no other system could match, well gee, some of the hater would not be so concerned about....who's is bigger than who's....they would be to busy playing yo...
I just did another Update for my PS3 last night, So your point is?
What do you have dial up or what...LOL. took about 10 min for me.
I don't play handhelds, but if it is coming to the Vita, I would think 3DS would be in the picture. Not that it matters to me.
OK,so for which platforms. I am guessing Wii U, but also PS4 or no? The reason I do not say 720 is Xbox gets little support over there. I know Wii U, will run the CryEngine.
There are new IPS for Nintendo, but what I would like to see it Eternal Darkness. It may not be a brand new IP, but it is one of the best horror games I have ever played and most people have not even played it. So for allot of people it would be like a new IP and trust me if you are like the many people who have not played it, pick it up on Ebay. The characters move a little clunky for today's standards but the game is still great even today.
Wow, that sucks. I have had it freeze twice. Both times BOPS2. I have heard some other people say they have had it freeze too.
I am playing Lego City, Monster Hunter, Need for Speed,Bops 2 right now. I have Played Runner 2, NBA 2K13, Trine 2. All good choices on Wii U, unless you hate all of them. There are more out there like Nano Assault, Sonic All Stars, The Cave, that look worth trying. These are just my opinions, and I do know what you mean though. I think this game looks like it might be fun though, at least to me.
I personally Think I will pick this up for Wii U. The gamepad seems like it would make the game play the way it was intended to, as the 3DS has the second screen. Unless the PS3 version plays much better of coarse, but I don't see how that would be the case.
I am looking forward to this game, because I don't have a 3DS, but I understand why some will not be picking up the console version if they already have the 3DS version.
I will more than likely not be picking up 720. I did 360, but after Ring Of Death twice I sold my games and picked up PS3..I guess if Microsoft blew my mind I would, but I don't see that happening, and I know it will not be Illumiroom that does that.
I doubt it will be "Owned" other than in the power department. It will be interesting to see the sales of PS4/720. I can not wait for PS4, but ALMOST definitely will not get 720. Unless Microsoft blows my mind, and I can tell you it will not be Illumiroom, LMAO.
No kidding. I agree 100%. I E-mailed Nintendo awhile ago about that. It wont happen though. Nintendo marketing is a flop, but the Wii U is a great system. Even though it won't have the power of PS4, I am looking forward to seeing what Nintendo does with its 1st party games. We know that games can look and play better than current gen, BUT how much better.
I look at games on the underpowered Wii, like Galaxy and think WOW, what can Nintendo do if Wii U has just a little more p...
That is pretty cool. Vita support I wonder? Here is a link that blows those pics out of the water. Why pics when we can see this? http://www.youtube.com/watc...
I was just saying that the game would lets just say if Wii U's version got a 8.5 because of gameplay well that would drop the other versions down quite a bit, and not just because of graphics but gameplay. Oh and Ubi-Soft said THIS...."We don't want to have the players dependent on other technology to make sure they have the FULL experience" That SIR is why it was SUPPOSED to be an exclusive to WII U...Here is the link..So NO as of now the Wii U version will be the best, UN...
That's good news, but for those of us who have played the demo on Wii U, it is very hard to see this game being as good on any other console. The gamepad integration is just amazing. Part of the appeal, at least for me was the innovative gameplay and also the visuals.
Maybe Ubi will include PS3/Vita combo? I do know that back in August Ubi said that "to get an experience similar to Wii U consumers would have to purchase a PlayStation Vita or a touchscreen device compatible...
Yes Nintendo is going to make it. With a system that finally has a little power the games are going to look and play great. At least the first party games. With Pikmin, Bayonetta, Zelda Wind Waker, Xenoblade 2, Wonderful 101, Super Luigi U, Plus the others already out like Lego City, Monster Hunter, Zombi U there are some good reasons to pick up a Wii U. Plus games like Fatal Frame, and possibly Eternal Darkness coming down the pipeline. I personally hope Eternal Darkness gets announced, ...
Something most people do not understand, a fiscal loss does not mean that is how much money the company actually lost. Those numbers are against projected sales not actual sales. So if a company projects 5 million in sales and only sells 3 million that is a 2 million dollar loss.
In my opinion yes it is, and I will tell you why. Nintendo has put so much into 3DS software (unlike at its launch) and failed to put more effort into Wii U's launch window. They should have learned from the 3DS launch. There was a lack of software and therefor lack of sales (not to mention the price). Nintendo did the same thing with N64, accept back then SM64 was groundbreaking, and made the system worth the purchase.
