Look at the bright side. They're probably already working on the next BF game while they fix this one to a enough of a playable state to abandon it. So you all can start getting hyped for the next game by believing in your expectations all over again. Deny it, but this game was defended up until release when reality came through the door. I guess it being new and prettier didn't help it much to be better.

Mtx, nfts, false advertising, completely broken products with no way of fixing unless connected to the internet, nothing but third person action adventure shooters, oh yeah the golden age. Creativity is dead, the obsession with pretty graphics is still strong and continues to be a huge distraction to what otherwise are actually just boring games. There's no care put into more than half of what releases these days. We have remakes that are less than the originals, remasters that are nothin...

Personally I wanna see what effect this has on linux. If it can play many games without problem Linux might just get a huge push

Nah this one's on Respawn. Since they said they were the ones that wanted to make Apex, and so their shift to focus entirely on Apex has made them abandoned TF. Im sure the direction they've decided to take has made many within disappointed so I'm sure some will leave slowly

I'm still not understanding this push back that the modding scene's been getting from so many companies these last few years. The gaming industry makes no sense. You have people streaming games, uploading full playthroughs with no commentary, and they see this as a good thing.

Since when is FB and Twitter a "free for all"? Also imagine being in a private voice chat and deciding to talk about politics and you get a notification that tells you to stop talking about politics. What I talk about to anyone, regardless of platform, through private messages shouldn't be censored. People don't really think of the long term negative effects that censorship on these platforms will have. Next thing you know you can't send certain texts with your own phon...

I have to agree somewhat. Tho maybe not entirely the writing itself as much as the pacing and placement of cutscenes and some missions. The flashbacks to the start of the pandemic were all over the place, and the memories with his wife were also awkwardly told through odd on rail gameplay (like you can move him but you weren't allowed to run or fight back). For the missions I remember having to hunt for food and after you meet someone who then gives a tutorial on how to hunt and it made n...

It's already normalized cause it happens outside of the internet too.
It's related to a basic human emotion, can't anything be done about it. Can't go around punishing people over it either cause you're basically punishing people for normal behavior. All you can do is ignore it, and if it's death threats then report it to the police.

I always find it funny when people mention EVOLVE. Cause it's really the only thing needing to mention when talking about Turtle Rock.

This is similar to the BF situation, in that they're making a game that was suppose to succeed a popular series. Yet despite all their talk about creating L4D and that game being stripped from them they somehow don't even understand what made "their" creation so popular in the first place.

That's fine, but once they start becoming a problem because you're shoving it into the games themselves then don't be surprised when your actual fans stop buying your games. Square has almost consistently come out a year after almost every game they've released to say they're games have sold less than what they expected. With those 70 dollar PC games they think they can push out they're gonna have quite a reality check

This game would be even better if it had more survival aspects. Days Gone gave me DayZ vibes at times, but a DayZ that's actually polished. I think if it has some light base building mechanics, resource gathering and crafting it would be perfect. Less FarCry like bandit camps and more human NPCs roaming around trying to survive/forming more smaller camps. Days Gone left me wanting more, especially with that ending. Sucks we won't get a sequel, but it did get a real decent amount of su...

I hope so, I'd be more willing to buy it if it worked on a PC. It's value would increase as it would be the only VR headset compatible with more than just one platform and that would look really good for marketing. Been thinking on the FB headset, whoops I mean Meta, and aside from price I don't wanna give any of my money to The Zucc.

I feel as if it would be very hard to ruin something (anything not just a piece of media) unless you're actively trying to push onto it what doesn't belong, or you don't try to put in an effort to understand it. BF isn't some new game that started with BFV, it's been around since 2002.

The expectation for the longest time now has been a BF as good and more improved than Bad Company 2. A game which DICE in the past have said they don't understand why peop...

I agree with comment in the article. Konami have let their franchises to fade away and this is what they believe fans want. No one asked for NFTs. Make actual framed art, come out with a new vinyl collection, clothing, make another game in the series. Eh just let those rich folks waste their money, what's it matter anyway

Everything from Ubi is in desperate need of reinvention, and some serious time off.

Gotta continue that fake outrage. Generate clicks from all the idiots on Twitter. I predict the marketing for this will make this GDs most successful game which will send all these sites into an even bigger meltdown

Perhaps you could hire people to test your game BEFORE releasing it rather than use your fan base as testers after paying full price? All these great devs have all turned into shells and it's sad. AAA gaming is going through the slowest death

EA needs to be stripped of the any and every chance that they may aquire to make any sports game. They basically hold a Monopoly on several sports. Why would you want them to add Rugby to their list of potential virtual casino?
