I'm a bit surprised that Activision doesn't have a developer that specifically ports games onto the Wii.
The Wii is obviously a far different console than the PS3 and 360 and for the best port, a developer with a lot of experience and a Wii console specific game engine would do the best job.
Either way, with 90+ million Wii's running around out there, it's a smart move by Activision.

Can't wait for Treyarch's next great COD game. Activision has given these guys all the tools they need and a budget to match.
I'm not sure how far they would want to tinker with the COD formula if at all. When you have the highest selling game in a series and entire gen, people are afraid of change.

COD has really put gaming on the map this gen with Hollywood even taking notice and wanted in.
Comparing COD, a video game, to Pink Floyd or the Beatles is off base. It's apples and oranges and never the two shall meet especially since DD is now the future and I doubt those sales have even been taken into account let alone the difference in population and expendable dollars available today Vs yesteryear.

One of my favorite games last gen. Not the best looking games but the bullet time made all the difference in the world. You can still find video's on U-tube showing the great long range kills...took them long enough.
I know someone ported the original to the Wii, might give that a rent for old times sake.

Some parts of the game play looks so good, it seemed CGI in nature. These are the kinds of trailers that I really like to see...GAME PLAY trailers. Did you see that big hand coming over the wall. I really hope it will look this amazing on consoles...getting nervous tho...that was too good.

What was the point of the Samaritan demo??? What is Mike Capps point. One minute they are all for next gen consoles and the next, he wants them to be all the same...O_o
The Samaritan demo was run on a 8-12 core computer with 3 gtx 580's...I don't see a phone or a tablet having that type of horsepower for a long time.

I agree with this statement. MW3 and the COD franchise have redefined the entire genre and the entire current generation of gaming along with Halo and Gears.

I would have a couple concerns...first up, WHO THE HECK IS REEF ENTERTAINMENT??? More importantly, why have they been giving the rights to the Sylvester Stallone movies...O_o...Sure, they have been porting PS2 games to the Wii, but that isn't exactly high profile stuff. :/
