As usual, the casuals are getting their way and it looks like far cry 3 might turn into a scripted cut scene heavy Uncharted junk heap...I hope I'm wrong.
This has been Sony's contribution this gen to gaming. Games that spend more time with cut scenes then actual game play and it's like some fungus with no end in site. Devs love the cut scene/rte garbage so they don't have to work and sit around all day drawing pictures to tell their story instead...

The re-spawning enemies didn't bother me UNTIL I played an the hardest difficulty setting which really made you hunker down and actually try and avoid getting into any encounters...lol...nearly impossible...it was for me, I gave up.

When it comes to developing ANYTHING...it's not easy, at least not easy if you are being innovative.
I think what they are describing is a situation where they are switching whats was a FPS to a Kinect based FPS and it has been easier than expected.
ALL motion controlled games tend to turn into the same on rails type of experiences and those that are not have all sorts of issues, the least of which is the floating reticule that is usually addresse...

Well I say good for Sony...maybe they are finally getting it. If Sony wants to have a chance next gen they have to launch at the same time as their competitors. They at the very least need to support Blu-ray and 3D gaming which the new Xbox will in 1080p-60fps. I wonder if M$ will have a blu-ray drive??? People were talking about the Battlefield tank demo because it was so boring...lol...THERE WAS NO CONSOLE FOOTAGE ON DISPLAY AT E3. I haven't seen any console multi-player footage as all the footage from E3 was on big, dark, black boxes with unknown PC's inside. I guess they are going to wait until launch to show the console multi-player version tho I'm still waiting for some campaign footage that is longer than 2 minutes...O_o...maybe show that tank footage on consoles.
