MW3 kicked off the M$ press event in complete style with a rock concert like atmosphere...just WoW.
Tomb Raider looked INCREDIBLE...dark, gritty with a edge of your seat intensity. It did remind me a little bit of Deadspace 1 with so much atmosphere and enemies grabbing at you and pulling you but WOW...such a surprise. They say the original demo was 15 minutes long ( like fable journey ) but M$ didn't have the space.

Onlive looks very good and is representative of how XBL or PSN will look in the future. Here's the problem...

I know it's fun to make movies and pretend they are video games BUT games have always been interactive and fun. Games like L.A Noire and Heavy Rain should be left on the DS, PSP, Cellphones and tablets.

They are taking too long to implement this kind of technology. The worlds biggest software maker has to be faster, especially when the sales of the 4 gb...0_o...360 S are insane. People shouldn't have to save EVERYTHING to a hard drive...this IS the future. I want my game saves, DLC, game profile ON DEMAND...Anywhere...ANYTIME... no questions ask!!! Make it happen M$.
I have a couple of 360's and it's a major pain to have to download game save or pro...

This game looks interesting...kinda like Deadspace/Gears of war underwater.

Everybody who watched the M$ press event saw what these guys are capable of. I think M$ should use some of those BILLIONS in net profit to get these guys to make a game for xbox 360, they obviously have an incredible game engine.
If Rare is not going to put Perfect Dark zero to use, why not licence it to these guys who could really make it shine???

ND has been making changes to the engine all along. They went with Havok for Uncharted 2 trying to keep up but the problems arise when you start to add features and multi-player.
EVERY game out there has had to adopt newer technologies and solutions in order to stay with the pack. Unfortunately, this usually comes at a cost and that cost is in the physics/graphics.
If you want a decent single player campaign, 4 player story based co-op or ANY C...

A console with 50+ million in sales and a game that is one of the best franchises on PS3 in Killzone 2-3 only sells 4+ million COMBINED is just INSANE!!!
Yes...the games are not perfect but NO GAME IS PERFECT. It's a crime of some sort that these games have struggle so much. If Killzone was on 360, the sales would be in the 10 million range easy and Guerrilla would be treated like gaming royalty.

If you want the original Halo, it's not only available for download but all you have to do is put in your original disc and VIOLA...it's backwards compatible, including an update.
Why is this guy crying over $40 for this ANNIVERSARY EDITION of a game that put M$ on the map. The game will have Firefight and multi-player last I'd heard. Let me guess...you want the " new " game for free...lol

The good thing is Valve will have to get off their chubby, gravity challenged butts and start putting out a lot more games, so this could be a good thing for fans of Valve. No more years and years of waiting for Half life or counterstrike...get to work Valve.

That would of been interesting but no doubt expensive as Crytek had just come off Far Cry and that game won GOTY.
That was a long time ago and things change. Crysis has turned into a Halo type of game and Halo of course is a leader in the fps genre as is Crysis.

It is true that DD is not taken into account which is a travesty. I think that total DD sales on PC could very well in fact out number physical media. Trend watchers have recently started to invest in better solutions in order to take into account this growing phenomena.

I don't think anyone believes that the PS3 is a ten year console. Sony keeps saying it is because they want people to believe that so they will keep buying them. If you tell people, hey, were launching a new console next year, people in the know won't buy one and will tell everyone else to wait till next year to buy the "new " console...it's a game that is played out every time a new device is launched.
