Sony and Nintendo really want to make their exclusives as the reason to buy their consoles...maybe they are right. Sony and Nintendo will never be able to compete with emerging giants like Apple and Goggle. Look where M$ was 6 years ago and where they are today.

If Crysis 2 had come out at the beginning of the gen and not at the end, the game would be a monster. As it stands, last I heard, it was around 3 million sold so i wouldn't call that a fail BUT EA and Crytek were no doubt hoping for some COD numbers...maybe that is the problem.

Many devs already have next gen engines but have to conform to certain standards in order for the masses to be able to play their games. They could of course pull a EA-Dice and just show their game running with CGI like fidelity and lied to everybody, knowing very few, if any gamers will experience the game that way BUT that would not be right, now would it. ;...

Take Dice off of any next gen graphics list. They have lied right to everyone's face, which had been pointed out as soon as they started showing the fantasy PC footage but the fanboys denied it....there's no hiding now is there. :/

Interesting how they released a NEW multi-player trailer right when all the leaked gameplay is being shown...O_o...poor EA-dice...it's too late...you can't hide the lies.
The only problem with that trailer is that the videos of the " ACTUAL " game play have leaked and the game looks...well, NOT very good...lol...some pretty bad choppy animations and textures. Sure, it's alpha but the game launches in less than 12 weeks...good luck fixing tha...

Everybody wants 3D like they want blu-ray, the cell processor and pay Passes...O_o...Sony doesn't get it...sad really. Maybe losing a few more billion will help them but I doubt it.
