if this is bout ps3 vs 360, well ps3's been outselling the 360 worldwide for 2 or 3 years now. the US is a strong market for the MS.
BF3 will sell 1.5 mil to 3 mill max, it won't be a failure. However, it will in no way match the success of MW3.

the delay has nothing to do with GOTY, theres just too many games coming out in that period which will reflect badly on its sales. GOTY will be between Uncharted 3, Skyrim, Infamous 2 and Arkham City. BF3 has no chance, the game has been overhyped and although won't fail-it will be eclipsed by the monstrosity that is COD which will not only outsell BF3 but will be a better game, a difficult reasoning to accept but rest assured, very logical.

i payed $700 for my ps3, wont pay a penny for a console that has any association to the Wii-unless ofcourse its ACTUALLY current gen, some flashy controller won't justify a price like that

no company is immune from an incident like this, what happened was perceded by sony slowly being molded into an attack on what hackers stand for-the same people have no problem attacking Nintendo or MS, Visa or Mastercard or any other company for that matter, security can always be breached. Sony happens to be the target and i think they're doing a good job of winning its followers back.

as of right now, they have little to no chance to attempt to challenge COD let alone be an actual competition. COD is monster, i predict for every 3 million copies of BF3 COD sell 10 million per console. not to mention the fact MW3 hasnt even been announced yet.

the majority of the audience for these games are players in North America, UK, Europe and Japan. this list can easily support five MGS moments without a moment of hesitation that any other games or franchises were left out
