Nope, they aren't forcing me. Like I said they can go to hell. I am not paying.
Yep, if they are trying to double dip on a game we just bought, they can go to hell.
First of all PS4 doesn't have faster memory. There is a reason ESRAM cost about 50 times more than DDR5. Second of all, compute units in parallel operations are the sum of both the CPU and the GPU so you have to take the entire system bus and performance into consideration.
So far Forza 5 is the only AAA Exclusive that is running 1080p and 60fps. X1 is also doing true multitasking. PS4 has yet to release a AAA Exclusive that runs at 1080p and 60fps, and their multitasking...
Already available and it's awesome. They added snap support to youtube as well.
I do think PC/Tablets have become easy and versatile enough that this will be the last console generation. We will still have couch based input UX and controller, but consoles will just be PC's running a service like Steam or Xbox UX
Quite a few missing particle effects and a little on the slow side, but still looks like the best 360 game! Users waiting should be happy.
Sadly 3d is pretty much dead, I do think it will come to both systems but not a priority.
I would love an invite if anyone is in the program, GT is incendy
It is too late for both the PS4 and the X1 in my opinion, especially if they are going to charge us monthly fees to play games we already own.
Pretty excited to play this tomorrow. Was a huge fan of Kinect Ping Pong last generation. Sounds like they did a really good job.
The biggest benefit DX12 gives to the X1 is that it makes parallel operations easier. The low level stuff already exist on X1 but making code run in parallel is difficult because DX11 doesn't have that feature built in. The double performance talk is related to the CPU doubling the compute units for graphics due to operations being worked on by both the GPU and the CPU. In DX11 you had to write your own code to do parallel operations, in DX12 they are saying it is as easy as flagging your...
I think that would be fun too. Also like to see AI respond to players expressions, that could lead to some pretty immersive situations.
Definitely want to check this out.. But tomorrow is about Kinect Sports Rivals and Fulgore!!
Nothing but win!
You might not believe this, but the game developers aren't making these shows.. I know crazy huh.
Nice Plex is where I store and stream all my bluray backups.
Have a feeling this could be game of the year material, looks soooooo good.
@nix: thank you for posting that to prove that the PS4 has no AAA Exclusives that run 1080p 60fps.
If you want the best your TV can do, Forza 5 is the only AAA exclusive that does 1080p and 60fps. It is available exclusively on the Xbox One.
Those aren't exclusives, plus Tomb Raider's frame rate is all over the place. MGS definitely was optimized better for PS4 although the game plays the same on both systems.
