"This is all about trying to make it appear that you/your console can hang".
By "appear", you mean, not giving the loud internet a spec they can use in every argument? Perception is exactly the issue the loud internet creates.
Gameplay is the most important thing when you are actually playing a game, but specs are really all internet trolls have to use in their arguments.
@Lukas: you did say that. No words put in your mou...
Personally I think a locked 60fps would be better, but I guess you have to please the vocal "annoying" internet trolls first. Be best if they would just give performance options like they do on PC.
Or just continue to play it on PC I suppose.
Red Dead Redemption and all of Halo for sure. Last of Us also feels like a game that would fit well on PC, but that isn't likely to ever happen.
It was pretty amateurish, that is the reason they remade it using the Last Light code base. The review delves into some of the changes they made. Worth a read.
They should make a Little Big Planet/Project Spark type of playground game for Frostbite. Sounds like such a fun engine to play with considering all the physics features. Can't wait to see what Bioware does with it.
If you read the review, they explain it pretty well. Pretty well written actually.
Doesn't horizons have a lot more social features with much larger clubs though?
@Alexious: Horizons also has day/night cycle, dynamic clouds and weather. In fact their weather is included at launch : )
Great thing about multitasking is you control when it happens :D
Multitasking and customizable pins like on Xbox One.
I don't find that I use "need" SmartGlass very often, but when I do I am always pleased with the experience. Especially love that I can rearrange my pinned games/apps
There was a rumor some few months back that Perfect Dark was coming back as a 3rd person adventure game. I liked that idea a lot.
Zelda is definitely more important than Metroid, but once Zelda is done it is priority #1.
I hope Game of Thrones will not be based on the actual book content. I love it of course, but we have already read the books and seen the show haha.
I used to love me some loot based gaming, but now it just feels so repetitive haha.
Halo 5 beta is coming this year, like the very last day haha.
Making AAA games is an expensive and risky business. So many studios either go bankrupt for close shop lately. Microsoft offered CD a way to make their game with very little risk, hard to knock them for choosing to go that route.
Capy games is pretty much famous for their delays. Although they are always worth it!
Exclusives are definitely important. I wouldn't have a PS4 if it was not for Naughty Dog. Xbox One I have for many reasons but with PS4 Naughty Dog is literally the only reason.
Was it? I don't remember them saying it was multi, I don't think they commented on that at all. All I remember was a trailer being shown at the Microsoft conference.
Instead of using hdmi input, you connect your TV signal directly to your Xbox one. Basically cutting out the middle man, now instead of controlling your cable box, you control your TV directly through your console.
Sadly this would only work on over the air TV though. And in the USA that would mean it probably won't be a very good option. Unless cable providers worked with MS, which is not likely any time soon.
