Again depends on the game and comes down to balance. Any game you can 1hit quickscope (CoD, Bad Company 1) needs better balance. Games where you need to 'hardscope' (fully looking through the scope) and sniper shots don't fire straight from the hip are usually examples of good snipers in games.
RFoM for example, hip shots fired randomly. A bunch of people mentioned it firing straight from the hip, but Insomniac was right on this (even though they screwed up plen...
Good to see RFoM getting love. That's what I signed in to talk about.
Don't remove shotguns, demand balance and remove bad games from your purchase list. The original RFoM shotgun was horrible, but they eventually patched it to pretty much exactly how a shotgun should function in a game. A shotgun should be close range, a desperation shot stronger and longer range than a melee. This also assumes you're not playing a game with stupid 1hit melees from the front wh...
So they're basically calling Microsoft suckers for paying them to advertise when it's essentially meaningless, because Battlefield's a multiplat and pretty much everyone knows that.
Insanity.. wrong gen. Unbelievable if it wasn't so believable.
And anyone surprised they're far from Complete editions? 1 map pack included for 1 of the games for consoles that died ~3 years ago?
The only thing that would make it better is you open the case and it's just 3 vouchers with download codes, no disc(s). /s What a joke.
Is that US dollars? What a Fn joke.. $79.99 for the standard version and $109.99 if you want MW1 remastered with it (as a download code, not even on a disc)? Infinite Warfare is garbage (based on their releases over the past several years) until proven otherwise. I'd be interested in the MW series remastered on disc; for campaigns and Spec Ops. Also would be interest in Black Ops 1 remastered.
I never got into Sly.. it always seemed too kiddie to me. Whether it is or not, that's the vibe I always felt, so I never bought a Sly game. I played a demo a while back, that's it.
Jak always pissed me off how you had to physically touch the drops/collectables instead of being within range and them gravitating or magnetizing to the player like in R&C. I did play some Jak though and thought there were some good parts, but I don't remember finishing any. I just...
I platinumed it and stopped playing.. I have the season pass though, so I'll eventually go back, even though they're making BS items paid and not part of the season pass, which should include everything. I wasn't interested in playing for tens of hours for relatively few chances at rolling potentially better gear. Many hundreds or potentially thousands of hours to get your ideal spec loadout, no thanks. Then spend all that time, just to have the level cap raised in a later update,...
If it's in quotes in his bio, isn't it possible he's quoting somebody else's ridiculous statement?
I paid for Gold to get shi late? The fk is wrong with you Ubi?
Hope they're talking about single player, because the multiplayer is ruined with all those perks/boosters/rewards, whatever you want to call them.
The gunplay is pretty good. They should've stuck much closer to a focus on that, like in UC2. Now you can call in NPCs. Why the F would I want to be fighting NPCs in competitive PvP multiplayer?
Then you have that speed burst teleporting with 1hit melee, the sarcophagus attacking everything in range, basica...
Just checked and Bad Company servers are surprisingly still up, and yes, it takes a hell of a lot longer to rack up kills.
Have the R2 and KZ2 trophies.. didn't play the others.
Battlefield: Bad Company was more "ridiculous", since it was 10,001 kills.. and racking up kills took longer as far as I remember (I didn't even bother going for it, because some of the accomplishments for another trophy were near impossible without 'boosting' aka cheating.). It also came out before R2.. June '08 vs Nov '08.
You'd think people this skilled would be smarter. Too many fools announcing these fan-made remakes/re-imaginings way too early. You see it over and over again.. these projects getting shut down. They give the companies months and months to take action.
Rule #1: Don't announce it until it's done.
There should've been more effort put into it, or they should've waited until PS5 to remaster it. I saw some texture upgrades in another video, like their pants looked more detailed, but that's about all I could notice.
Also haven't seen anything about whether this is complete or not with the DLC, The Taxidermist or whatever.. I'm thinking I'll likely just stick with the PS3 complete edition, which is unfortunate, because I'd prefer to upgrade every...
Talking head is kinda dumb.. you don't have to hit X every 2 seconds. The game shouldn't bring the option back up so fast, but it's both game and user error.
My top two:
» Get free movies every month.
» Participate in Ps+ gaming tournaments to win amazing prizes. (Have to actually accomplish something as opposed to a contest, which could be some random drawing, or something non-gaming related)
There are already tons of forums, so that one's worthless.
All the ones about real life discounts are likely also near-worthless if you're any good at shopping around / com...
It's awesome unless the content is already complete and should have been included on your $60 disc/dl, which it appears it may be, since they already showed part of the last DLC.
I preordered Gold and I'm perfectly fine with true post-production DLC add-ons/expansions. I'm not ok with incomplete products for full price and then having to pay extra to get the full product that you already paid for.
@antz
I agreed, but what about when you're rogue and being shot at? I hated when a turret would turn you rogue, but I'd want my turret shooting non-rogues who are trying to kill me when I'm rogue. Hopefully that still functions correctly.
I want excellent games.. don't care where or when they take place if they're great. Based on past games though, I'd want Bad Company 3 from the Battlefield franchise; fun and interesting characters.
Just remaster the game (complete with Undead Nightmare). I'd rebuy.. looking forward to BioShock Collection in September.
