When people keep buying ANYTHING, even the crappy cellphone port and 358/2, who can blame them? If someone told me there was 5 million idiots that paid me for every lame product I put out, you bet I'd make that last as long as possible. "Better to work for a paycheck than wait to win the lottery." It's a business. The KH fanbase keeps buying it, so the company keeps churning it out. I don't know why people are surprised.
In case anyone's wondering why some multiplatform games are listed with just one (such as Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Metal Gear Solid Rising), you can only pick one platform per game that you vote for. Sometimes you'll see 2 versions on the list for that reason, though that hasn't happened in this case, it seems.
The console wars are so awesome.
Oregon Trail, man. The game where you ride along waiting for your family to get bit by snakes or die of dysentery. Great game? Or Greatest game?
Ah, game journalism.
Have we not learned our lesson about what "no plans" means? Still?
Namco Bandai has no plans to release Eternal Sonata on PS3.
Namco Bandai has no plans to bring Eternal Sonata to North America.
Atlus has no plans to release Yggdra Union on PSP in North America.
Atlus has no plans to release Catherine in North America.
Sega has no plans to release Yakuza: Of the End in North America.

I only read reviews BY MICHAEL!!!!
Yeah if it were a retail game. It's kinda fun.
That's about what I'd give it, since it's a PSN game. Its about the average for PSN originals. If it were like, a $50-60 disc release, then it'd be more like 4/10 territory.
DUCK SEASON FIRE!
"I feel like a Mary without a Peter and a Paul."
I don't think that picking those particular exclusives implies that any given person only likes that genre or only that game, they were just examples of exclusive titles on each console.
Each one having a good offering of games is the whole point ^_^ You realize it and that's great, but it's just tiring to see alllll the venomous hate over non-issues, you know? Lots of nitpicking about which system has the best version of multiplatform games, taking a dump on th...
I don't follow. You don't like those games? I suppose they're not for everyone but they seemed like good examples of quality exclusives on each console. Perhaps you feel they were not the best choices and for that I apologize.
Writing out nods to every single genre would have been a bit long, don't you think?
I guess so. The problem is that they say it's a 10-point scale, but they really use 6-10. 6=So-so, 7=Average, 8=good, 9=Great, 10=Top tier. But 1-5 are pretty much the same, with no difference in quality.
Readers don't look at mathematical proportion, they look at the distance from the top, so out-of-ten and percentage scales doom themselves to readers' high expectations as well. Even for games they haven't played, readers will call for your head if you ...
This is a great article that sadly, few people will read and even less will pay attention to. -_-
We humans like our bitching *without* knowing the fact or how things work, thank you.
i'll be just fine.
I've never heard of this game until right now, but I might check it out I think.
Trusted words from an analyst and a therapist. You might say you're something of an "analrapist."
...which was obviously Sony's intention ^^;
It goes both ways, really.
Were people kinda foolish to hype it up so much?
Yes.
Was Sony intentionally creating buzz, knowing full well the kind of speculation it would lead to and doing it anyway, all for the purpose of some ads?
Also yes.
It rests on both groups equally.
...that's gonna sell truckloads.
Also there are 2 Wii games: Zelda and DQX.
...BOTH of which are gonna sell huge.
