Merry Christmas!
I wonder when a full-on MMO with voice chat will hit the Vita....
I hope some time by the end of next year. That'd be amazing.
We frown upon friendly sharing of contrasting opinions here. You should be ashamed of yourself.
I would imagine so. This time of year, people are opening up PSN Gift Cards left and right. Sony's gonna be busting out plenty of hot new stuff to please them.
It should note somewhere that you can only play the Ridge Racer game online. No offline play available. So don't buy it for the purpose of enjoying on plane rides.
Hindman is like the Norm MacDonald of game news. The mainstream won't find his stuff funny, but those that do...oh man... ^_^
Mild interest in most of those, plus Disgaea 3 and FFX ports.
Can't wait till more original games and new IPs start rocking the house.
True enough, though there are a lot of us who buy from multiple stores, on whom this has a negative effect. =/
I forget, how well did the PSPgo do, again?
Dang. I like to get stuff from both the NA store and JP store so this messes with me a little. I can't afford 2 Vita's for that purpose. Looks like Sony's gonna lose some of my PSN money, then =/
I'll still get a Vita but this is disheartening news.
I just hope the good software continues to flow.
"He says it looks better on the Vita and controls better with the extra analog stick so hopefully we get a Vita version."
You can play the PSP version on the Vita if need be, via PSN download. Cheaper that way too (at least in Japan, where the download has always been cheaper than physical). At least I think there is a PSN version of Type-0. Is there? I bought the disc so I don't know. (I'm a physical media fan.)

Best review I've read of this game.
Something about his unbridled self-praise is just always funny.
"He's Half American, so my point stands."
^ Fixed.
But you'll see what you want to see so I guess it doesn't matter. It wouldn't matter to you if this were co-written by Hideo Kojima and the Emperor of Japan, you'd still find some way to blow it off.
Yeah the half-Japanese, editor of a JRPG website, Japanese citizen author who has appeared in Famitsu is clearly suffering from a case of American Superiority syndrome haha XD
The article does a pretty good job of describing why Famitsu is a special case though. The described review conditions are crazy =/
Yeah I love seeing all the comments about Japanese gamers that "only" play domestic games by people who think they know what they're talking about.
I think if I were born in the mid 90's or later I would hate games.
Its sales were 1/3 of what Square Enix predicted.
Its sales were 1/3 of the original's.
Its sales were 1/3 of Final Fantasy X-2, the first FF direct sequel.
It sold less than Tales of Xillia (Tales never outsells FF).
Fan reviews from Japanese and importers alike say terrible.
Small stores with only 1 or 2 used copies of any given game suddenly have stacks and stacks of FFXIII2, even though it's o...
