I had to order my PS3 Slim 120 gb on Amazon.com since every store around was sold out of PS3s. I was surprised/pissed lol. Come on Sony, get it together! Also, I agree with first reply, this was indeed an excellent opportunity for Sony to close the gap.
I'm just not liking all of this motion sensing craze going on with both the 360 and PS3. Quit trying to be like the Wii. Of course I'm not going to be able to give my final verdict until I actually use the devices, but right now I'm just not liking this motion sensing movement.
I'm officially erasing Socom: Confrontation from my mind lol. Let's hope we get something way better. I'm pretty sure we will :)
As much as I complain about this game, I can't stop playing it. I don't know how many times I've told myself that I would not play it anymore, and I run back to it. It's just like any other addiction, you know it's bad, but sometimes you can't just stop lol.
They are doing this on purpose to ease us into paying for the premium service! Conspiracy!
I don't even think these games can be compared as far as multiplayer goes. BFBC 2 requires a lot more teamwork overall and the gameplay is different with vehicles and stuff like that. Modern Warfare 2 is basically shoot 'em up. Yes, there are game modes that require a little more teamwork than others, but no where near as much as BFBC 2.
Whether it be on the 360 or PS3 you bought it for a reason. Don't listen to any of these fanboys that would do anything to defend their system.
Haven't cut on my PS3 all day and was planning on trophy hunting with Heavy Rain tonight. After all of this chaos, I'm not gonna cut it on 'til things are sorted out.
Microsoft Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows. Although I've heard that Microsoft doesn't get anything ($$$) for the games being on Windows, I find that hard to believe.
Out of the 3 consoles (Wii, 360, PS3) you're only going to be able to get them on the 360. If games being on PC & 360 were such a factor, then tell me why 360 games usually sell better than the PC version? I guess all the people that bring up this statement need to help the PC out a bit since whenever 360 exclusives are brought up, everyone is all of the sudden a hardcore PC gamer!
I will be shocked and this is not coming from one of these annoying PS3 fanboys (I don't even want to be associated with them). I'm a proud owner of both 'hardcore' systems.

It really doesn't matter if it looks better than Killzone 2 or not. It's halo, it WILL sell and WILL be one of the best sellers of the year. Fanboy or not, you can't deny that. I'm a big fan of the Killzone series, but it doesn't even match the Halo fan base. All of these comparison articles are not going to matter. Sorry guys.

Anyways, on subject, God of War 3 definitely looks to be a contender for GOTY. I played the demo and it just craps on Dante's Inferno imo.
They all have 1 goal and that's to make money. I don't get why anyone could be such a fan of a certain console. Just look at it this way, what if there was just Sony, Nintendo, or Microsoft only and there was no other competition. Can you imagine how much we'd be paying for the system and games? Makes you look really stupid for being a fanboy if you look at it that way, huh?
This game wasn't like God of War fun or anything like that. It was very intriguing. I guess that's the word I'm looking for. The decisions that I had to make during the game gave me a feeling that I have never really experienced while gaming. So I can understand what Cage meant by his statement.
I don't really think Microsoft is stupid enough to use this for hardcore games. It will probably be only for casual games and is meant to appeal to the casual gamer, not hardcore.
I say that if you don't own both consoles then you are not a gamer. Now I know some people can't afford both and that's fine. This statement is mainly directed at people that are just so loyal to one of the consoles and haven't even bothered to try the other console. I'd rather have both the 360 and PS3. I have way more games to choose from.
I just bought my PS3 slim a couple of weeks ago! I'd be kinda pissed if they upgraded it with something major.
I don't understand how people let reviews determine if the game is good or not. There's been plenty of games that I've loved and didn't get the best reviews (Shadowrun). Also, there's been games that have gotten great reviews and I didn't like them so much (GTA IV). While these reviews may give you a little insight, at the end of the day you are going to have to find out the facts yourself.
