I just want to get some info on games Last Guardian and Killzone 3. I would also like to see cross-game chat/invites, PS2 emulation, etc. at a cheap price with the premium service. $20 a year would be a nice price point, but I seriously doubt it will be that much. I really think they should make the service a considerably lower price than XBL though. For me the move is meh and 3D is a huge gimmick imo. After seeing a couple of 3D movies I really don't see what the buzz is.
Am I wrong for actually wanting an emulator or something of that nature? Nothing big, just a PS2 emulator or some way for me to be able to play PS2 games that I own on my PS3. And no, I don't want to buy a PS2 lol.
I think that advertising the Playstation 3 has been one of the main failures of Sony. They've now hit it on the nail with this advertising campaign! Props to Sony.

Ok, so my friend bought a used PS3 from there for like $240 I think and wanted to take it back after only a week because he wanted a slim and the ps3 he got smelled like cigarettes lol. Maybe my logic is just all messed up, but anyone that supported a system day one should have extended warranties. Hell they paid 400-600 dollars for the system, why shouldn't they get extended coverage? These are powerful systems and are more prone to failure. I'm sure Sony knows about the problem, so they need to do something about it. Plain and simple.
I agree with you man, don't get me wrong N4G is great for gaming news and such, but the fanboys and dumb articles that get approved by them are unreal at times. Anyone that doesn't see that this site is overrun with Sony (Playstation) fanboys is blind. Not saying there aren't any 360, PC, or Wii fanboys, but the majority are PS3 fanboys.
Certainly a fanboy driven site like N4G will have you thinking UC2 is the best game of all time, but these are simply opinions. I honestly think that UC2 is one of the best games this generation, but of all time? HELL NO. I personally think that Sonic 1 & 2 (16 bit) are the best all time. Is everyone gonna agree? No. That's the point though, you can't take opinion as fact since everyone has different tastes.
Just because nobody you know hasn't had one fail on them doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Your friends ≠ everyone with a ps3.

Sony is clearly having problems with launch consoles and there's no denying that. An extended warranty is needed plain and simple. If you don't believe they have problems, just head over to the PSN forums and look in PS3 general.

Every since I've been playing MAG, I've been nothing but happy. Not that many "wtf...how did he kill me" moments cause I don't have to deal with having a sh*tty connection unless I'm host. I seriously don't see how people can play Modern Lagfare 2 now. Especially people, like me, that got it for the 360 and pay for live. Still not buying a HDD at that price. This is just a slap in the face to people that owned the 360 before the elite was even heard of. I guess I'm going to have to manage with the 20GB because I absolutely refuse to pay that much for a HDD.
I'm seeing some of these same people that said sales don't matter and yet it's a whole different story when a PS3 game sells well lol.

If the PS3 gets party chat, which I hope we won't have to pay for, I won't even bother with XBL anymore. That's the only thing really keeping me on live cause I like to socialize with my friends and play.
Personally, I play M.A.G. over MW2, but that's just me. I love playing without lag, dedicated servers ftw.
Graphics only do so much for a game and some people have a hard time understanding that. As long as this game offers good gameplay than it's a buy for me. Great time to be a 360 and PS3 owner!
