GTA IV was highly praised also and based on all of the great reviews it had I thought it was the "second coming." So I literally bought into the hype and got the game. I was so mad at myself for believing all of the hype and I really didn't like the game much at all. If anything the game was a 7.5/10 imo. Less than a week I got tired of it. If I do get RDR it will be after a price drop for sure.
If it's nothing big I at least hope it's a XMB performance improvement. Especially in-game because it can be a little slow at times.
I agree that this is a flaw with his comparisons, but I've watched the other videos and he doesn't seem biased to me.
He has a right to his own opinion rather you agree or not. I don't see him as an Xbot at all because I watched all of the console war videos. Just because you don't agree with him doesn't mean you can just accuse him of being a Xbot. Just saying...it seems like nobody can have an opinion when it comes to video games lol.
I can't believe I forgot about MOH lol...shame on me!
After the whole MW2 situation, I'm not really excited for Black Ops. I will probably give it a month or two before I decide to purchase it. After being a huge fan of COD 4 I have been unimpressed ever since. I'm actually more interested in Halo Reach and Killzone 3, but that's just me.
The reason I got a 720p set is because that is the sweet spot for consoles. Not many games are true 1080p, they are upscaled. There's not enough games that run 1080p natively to convince me to get a 1080p television. I don't game on PC so there's no reason for me to go 1080p at the moment.
If leading on the PS3 gives us better games, then I'm all for it!
I think that if both consoles were released at the same time, the PS3 would be in the lead for sure. Just my opinion though.
That way Sony can do whatever the f*ck they want without any competition! Sounds great! /sarcasm
So Bungie signs with Activision and now it's all good? How about this...let's release Bungie's new game and make it $70! How much would you love them then lol?
While they aren't really giving us anything big, it's free nonetheless. I do want some more maps and game modes eventually though. Zipper make it happen.
Those 4 arm freaks lol. Well I guess a lot of characters from MK could qualify.
I see what you are saying, but since I have a 360 I don't really need to take the time out to build a PC. Sure it may not be as powerful as a PC, but it's good enough to save me the time and money for building a PC. Also, I don't know if it matters or not, I've never been a PC gamer. This is how I'll sum it up for my situation. The 360 offers better online features. The PS3 offers better games to me. If the PS3 gets more of the features that I want it will be my system of choice tbh.
I do own a 360, but I prefer more games that are on the PS3. Although PSN is free, it could be a lot better. I own the 360 and PS3 so maybe I expect a little more than some that doesn't own both? It's not just the PS3, there's things the PS3 has that I want on 360.
@ALFAxD_CENTAURO I never said I wanted a Wii and is PS2 emulation too much to ask for? The PS2 had backwards compatibility, why not the PS3? And I know some on you are going to be like "why don't you get an ol...
I just want PSN and other little things to be improved, if that means I gotta pay then so be it. Here's some of the features that I would like: cross-game chat, a PS2 emulator, the ability to send voice messages, I would like my controller to charge while the system is in standby, the ability to appear offline, a game invite system, and more. If a premium service is needed in order to get these features, then they really should try to keep the price considerably lower than XBL. $20 a year ...
I really don't think the games are going to look any better than they already do. I don't think the 360 is maxed out, but the lack of 1st party devs is a concern for me. Other than that I'm excited about the games coming out and I'm happy to be a 360 owner.
I'd rather have a system that's was already built around the motion control concept. Unless every game is somehow going to be Move compatible, then I think the Wii would overall be a better value.
My point is Sony should work on actually adding those features instead of trying to be like the Wii. We've been waiting long enough, it's been over 3 years.
'Nuff said.
