After all that's all they care about is graphics lol. I'm sorry, just had to say that...
We don't need anything else pushing back this game lol
The trailer I saw looked pretty interesting. Looking forward to hearing more about it.
I agree. When I was growing up it didn't really matter what system you had as long as you were enjoying games.
Mostly fanboys care about sales. Real gamers care about the games. Being an owner of both 'hardcore' systems, I may think differently than you all that only have one or the other.
No competition = bad for the consumer. Madden can just come out with minor changes ever year and say that they are "revolutionary" because they have nobody to compete with. That's why I like basketball games more (specifically NBA) because I have choices.
And bring us Firefox for the PS3. I heard rumors about it a while ago, make it happen lol. Anyways this update doesn't mean that much to me since I don't pay much attention to trophies at all, but it's better than nothing.
Never has been a war to me since I own both 'hardcore' systems. Feel sorry for those of you that can't appreciate a game because it's not on your system of choice.
3D is nothing but a gimmick to me and I'm not convinced to get anything 3D at all.
One of my most anticipated games for the 360. It's a great year to own both systems!
The graphics make it good for me, otherwise it's mediocre at best. No matter how much I try to tweak the controls I just don't really like them. Killzone 2 is good eye candy, but the controls are just annoying to me. Games like MAG, BFBC 2, MW2 have much better controls and are more enjoyable for me to play. I don't care if the way they do the controls on those games are "nooby", but they work well to me.
If you are a graphics whore, then you will probably not like it. If you like games that actually require teamwork and good communication then MAG is great. Also, once you get a clan then your experience will be a lot better. Having a good clan is pretty much a necessity with this game.
I was just stating a fact. I own all systems so I couldn't really care less tbh.
I don't care about sales at all really, but unless you live in Japan quit bringing up the Japan sales. If you do, however, live in Japan more power to you.
Bottom line. They need first party studios to take advantage of the hardware. That's why PS3 is having so much success as far as having games that 'push the limit' they have a lot of good first party studios and Microsoft doesn't.
It's not just RROD, it's the crappy disc drives too. My first 360 wasn't able to be fixed unless I paid $120 because I didn't have rrod, but I had a faulty disc drive. After I bought a new one, it's failed twice because of error e73 & e74 and those were both fixed for free so it wasn't a huge deal. Still very inconvenient though.
Microsoft is more than aware of the PS3's numbers gaining ground on them. They know they need to release natal with as much perfection as possible. Although, I not a fan of natal or even move for that matter, Microsoft would be stupid if they release something like this and it doesn't deliver. I'm just looking at the situation with logic. I'm not taking any sides.
MS and Sony need to quit trying to be like Wii and stick to their roots. Also, while this may not be on topic, screw 3D also huge gimmick IMO. Just keep on giving us great games and save this stuff until next generation or something.
After experiencing 3D a few times I don't understand the hype. Huge gimmick imo.
If I wanted motion control I'd just get a Wii. I'd much rather have cross-game chat, a PS2 emulator, the ability to send voice messages, I would like my controller to charge while the system is in standby, the ability to appear offline, a game invite system, and more. There's just so much stuff I'd rather have than Move.
