@360ICE Not in the English or American forces. Not in English ground forces until 2016 actually. Yeah, countries like Russia had a few (most notably a sniper). But, is disingenuous to say because there was some somewhere that you can say now all forces had them in combat roles. I guess we could have stories about blacks fighting alongside Germany in Africa or Jew Nazis as they both existed as well and in a lot greater numbers than women fighting in combat for the Allied forces. So lets ...
WTF are you talking about? With that logic he Pro as no games to sell it on either. But, that is not true for either. They are mid-gen devices. It just happens the X is a much better mid-gen device. They both play their exclusives better than their bases and both play third-party better than their respective bases. The X definitely plays any third-party multi-plat better (you know what 90% of all game sales are) better than any other console on the market.
@Silly gameAr This has nothing to do with cross-play. How hard is it to understand this. This is Sony blocking you from accessing your game progress (not Sony's data, not even on Sony's servers) because you originally linked your Epic account with a PSN account (and no unlinking does not help). Sony decided that somehow if you want to play also on a Switch (I don't know because a PS4 is not very mobile) or even an Xbox it is a bad thing and they will not allow you to use your h...
"Kind of like the opinion that climate change is not happening "
Not the argument of those pro or con on the matter. Nobody disputes climate change exists. It has existed throughout the history of this world. It is how much is it actually happening, how does affect the world and how does man play a role, if any and if so what actions should be taken. That is the argument. And yes opinions can be wrong on both sides of that subject....
Both MS and Sony have one major title left this year right? Spider-Man for Sony and FH4 for Microsoft. Or am I missing something additional from Sony's conference that was coming this year? What exactly was new never seen before IP at Sony? They showed the exact same stuff last year and the year before that. The only new IP we had never seen and of any interest was for PSVR, other than that Sony had the same games (most look good- but they still are the same games they have shown before) ...
Wait you want to talk iterations (should you)?
GOW 4 was actually the 8th in the series, and that doesn't even count the 4 game remasters and collection packages
Uncharted has 7 iterations now, not counting the recent collection package or the mobile game.
Grand Tourismo has what 8 iterations
MLB - The Show has what 13 iterations
Where was Final Fantasy VII? I remember you guys were so gung-ho about that game three or four years ago w...
@kayoss What games next year?
Of the big games are we talking about, what are the ones coming out next year for Sony exclusively? And talking about same rotation the Sony conference big games were made up the same exclusive games that have been showing up for the past couple of years.
From their press conference (big games not those indie games like Deracine for PSVR):
Spidey release this year
Ghost of Tsushima has no release date
The La...
Oh wow, the narrative has changed. I remember when the PS4 was the most powerful console on the market, PSfanboys argued that resolution was the most important thing. Now it isn't... Make up your damn mind and stick with it. You guys sound like the all the lunatic Democratic Party and MSNBC, CNN. Hollywood and whining Hillary. Always running around making up a negative narrative to one that best suits your fake outrag...
@SpringHeeledJack There is quite a difference between adding more standard parts (like memory) then there is changing a highly customized APU like both consoles are/will be designed around. Not that they can't be working on multiple development paths for a console but, the differentiation between those paths are not huge. And the final path is usually solidified into the final system design a long way out. <-- there is a lot of testing a verification done those last six months before t...
No, he did it to quiet the rumblings of people (mostly PS4 fanboys) who say the Xbox is dead, Microsoft has no interest in doing another Xbox, there will never be another Xbox, Xbox will be just a service on Windows and all that type of talk. It was to establish that Microsoft is 100% committed to providing a new console(s)
"We all know what will happen if PS5 launches before the next xbox and so do Microsoft. "
Who is we and all? The only thing I know i...
Not being concerned what your opponent is doing is bad and that is how you lose the battle.

* BC is bad for you. Nobody wants it. But let us charge you for it. That PS BS shoveled to you. Will that BS be OK if the PS5 has not BC?
* Options are bad, we think you shouldn't have options unless we can make money off it. So no EA Acces for you. You like that shoveled Sony BS.
* PSNow is a great option - so says Sony. But wait let us first remove it from all other systems that make it a great option (remember Sony doesn't w...
Actually, with PSNows level of compromise (720p, artifacts, 30fps max, lack of action based games), I am surprised it has issues at all even at low internet speeds. But multiple have had issues with the service. Some at OK connections have no issues and those with great connections have multiple issues. For example, I have Google Fiber and my service can hit 920Mbps. And when I tried PSNow on my internet it had lots of lag issues. I tried it on friends (a measly basic 30Mbps cable connect...
Most of us don't give a crap about streaming right now. We are not willing to compromise. Unlike PS fanboys giving PSNow a pass with its subpar service, MS fanboys will not accept anything that can't live up to the quality of the games actual fidelity, while maintaining the necessary experience for playing the game. Anything else according to my notes from the last Microsoft fanboy meeting would not be acceptable.
I think we are talking about a big boy game streaming service, not one designed to support 650 games lacking in a variety of characteristics (e.g games without a lot of action going on). And one that will not be limited by supporting essentially only a PS4 device only, even though the service has no reason not be on other devices. A streaming service not downgraded to 720p. 30fps max, with artificacts and lag issues. That is the key. We are are talking day one releases of true AAA content...
@showtimefolks You are right I was wrong. I feel so horrible. it wasn't 60% of sales last year in 2017 it was 79% of all video games were sold digitally in the US. There are similar numbers for Europe as well. But, before you go on about my number being PC based number. 92% of all PC games are digital.
Who are these major tech companies that disagree that the idea of streaming / always connected is not inevitable? It may not be coming soon to a console near you as some here keep saying it is. But, definitely is arriving sooner rather than later. And yes it is inevitable.
Case in point:
Sony first attempt with PSNow
EA with their new streaming service.
Nvidia with their streaming service.
Microsoft advancing Azure Games services for deve...
I thought the rumor was $100. These $349 prices don't seem right. I can see X going down to $399. If you go to their Gamestop and Fry's respective websites the price is $449. However, I do find it really strange (and maybe a little foretelling) is how did two different and fairly large sellers of console hardware make the exact same pricing mistake ($349) at the exact same time? Perhaps if the price does go to $399 these will be the sale prices at these stores and they just jumpe...
