@Kokyu I have been drinking all my life that doesn't mean I am alcoholic. Just because you do something a lot does not make it an addiction. You can actually be well-functioning, adjusted individual and game more than someone that is addicted to gaming (not common but, it can happen).
An addiction is when it controls your life. Gaming addiction is a behavioral addiction. But, it has many things in common with other addictions that have a more biological tie-in, like ...
What reach is that? What about my whole statement was false. Name one thing on there that was incorrect. Or you just laughing nervously because you realize any comeback by lock and step PS fanboys could not be based on fact and would be full of crap. Come on name one thing that was incorrect. Were there not 3 consoles by Sony in 3 years? Fact! Was the breakdown in the difference of what base over PS4 Slim correct? Yes! Was my breakdown of the S changes cor...
Sony put out 3 consoles in just 3 years time. So your point is what? If Microsoft is not working with a full deck what does that mean for cards missing from Sony's deck?
PS4, PS4 Slim, PS4 Pro
Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One X
Both of the Slim & S consoles get a slight efficiency bump because of the new smaller and more efficient chipset (APU) over the previous versions. They both really have no other real big changes affect general game...
Not quite. You still will not be able to run PS3 games locally. The large majority of games in the current PSNow catalog would still need to be streamed. You have noticed that games with lots of onscreen action aren't part of the current PSNow catalog? PSNow (streaming) has a difficult time handling that type of game. So, unless Sony plans on adding those type of PS4 games and only allowing them to be download to be played you will be stuck with a catalog of missing a certain type of game...
It wouldn't. You will still need to stream about 85+% of the current catalog. The main advantage this may lead to seeing PS4 games running like they were designed (not 720p, and compressed fidelity issues). It may also lead to more PS4 games being added to the PSNow catalog. Certain games, like those with lots of on-screen action, don't work too well on PSNow. So PSNow does not include a lot of those type of games in its catalog. If you could download that type of PS4 game to run lo...
Oh please, as soon as you say "We know" it is not an opinion but implied fact. "I believe" would mean an opinion so stop with that revision of your original comment.
Show the exact factual story (not based on anybody that heard from a friend or rumblings here and there) No, that actual documented proof that something is happening about manufacturing. Please... Otherwise, stop with the bull about your statements not being a...
So your rumors are more believable than the next Xbox rumors? They are both based on rumors. "We know... " what does that mean? Nothing. We really know nothing. Except that both console makers are bringing new devices because both Kodera and Spencer said they were. That is all we know. On the Sony side, it will be here when and include what? We don't know! On the Microsoft side, we know they (multiple devices) will be here when and include what...
Sorry, I don't have the same desire to wear those assless chaps as PS fanboys do. I will pass on the that. But, I suppose if there are Xbox fanboys that like that stuff (no judging) they can get those same online multiplayer timed exclusive doo-dads a little bit later.
This is exactly what I said Sony needed to do with the PSNow service to stay relevant; allow games that are able to run locally to have an option to be downloaded (e.g. PS4 games in the PSNow catalog can be downloaded but not PS3 they must be streamed). At least I hope this is what they are planning. This option will be especially important for the future where the PSNow may have to deal with a PS5 having PS4 BC. Of course, now they need to actually add some of those good PS4 first party...
And PS4 didn't show anything new. Sure there was some gameplay (and yes Sider-Man is a day one for me) But, that is the problem with Sony the do these game announcements 3 to 4 years prior and keep bringing them to the next E3 and the after that and the one after that. Yeah, Microsoft has done this as well but, we didn't see a lot of repeat from MS this year. All the exclusives we saw at Sony''s press conference (minus Spider-Man and Days Gone) will be at E3 2019 maybe eve...
What story? What does that have to do with E3? Why is it whenever PS fanboys are backed into a corner they start yelling console numbers (even made up wrong numbers). It is almost like liberals using trigger words, like immediately calling someone "racist" or "global-warming denier" as their only argument because they can't argue the point.
He is a senior lead environmental artist. And fairly well known. If you like the environments in both Uncharted 4 and in part Las of Us a lot of that is based on his work. I think he worked at Ubisoft doing Tomb Raider environments prior to being acquired by ND.
And no ND do not have anywhere close to 200 artists in-house.
Naughty Dog and 343 seem to do this over the years. I remember when Corrinne Yu, a lead engine architect, left 343 for Naughty Dog b...
I suspect it will be cross-generation (or iteration, whatever Microsoft is calling their nex-gen machines). But, it is definitely being built to arrive around the expected release of the next console(s).
"Pro could have been delayed to match or surpass the specs of x but Sony chose the long term approach of coming out first than and coming out first now "
Delayed? That is not how these consoles are engineered. I think it was Sony that was caught off guard by Microsoft with the X or at the very least the power the X was going to have. You don't say whoops, lets delay Pro and rebuild all the customization and bring it out a year later. Sorry, not how thing...
>> "Sony has a history of being a little deceptive with certain things to guard plans. Look at what they did with the PS4 dev kits and the amount of RAM. That was intentional and reliance on the leaks caught MS shorthanded."
No, the actual PS4 was planned to be a 4GB machine. It was the developers using the devkits that came back and said: "no-way, we need more RAM". It had nothing to do about fooling MS or anyone els...
Except Nadella likes him. Has placed gaming as one of pillars of Microsofts' future. Satya just promoted Phil to VP, moved his division out of Windows, fired the Windows boss that was blocking Xbox at every turn, placed Phil in the inner circle that determines future direction. I doubt Phil is going anywhere unless Phils want to go there.
And no they are not moving all digital. That statement is an example of why Phil had to come and reassure those worried about future ...
I don't know why people are downvoting you. Anybody can contribute an article there. They are just as bad as Gamingbolt. I guess if you like the story Forbes is great now. Next week there will be a PS5 post with something negative by another random contributor that they write they heard from a friend of a friend working at AMD and everyone will hate Forbes. Point is Forbes is not reliable blog site for cutting-edge news reporting.
