Sony Conference is absolutely terrible. They got too cocky.
There whole vibe is basically we sold 8 million already, we don't need to do anything else.

How did Microsoft do at E3 2014?
Depends on who you ask.
Most objective gamers will say it was a good conference. There was nothing earth shattering, but given the time constraints there was a good mix of 3rd party games and they demoed/revealed 8 exclusive titles. Sony had a weak press conference last year that was overshadowed by the terrible Xbox One reveal. This was much more exciting than that Sony conference.

Microsoft did a great job in my opinion. The stuck to their word and showed games. Phil is a good speaker and opened the floor very nicely. In total I counted 8 major exclusive titles for the Xbox One. I especially liked the gameplay demo of Sunset Overdrive (coming in Oct) and Fable Legends. Based on the previous Avalanche article it looks like the Xbox One only becomes ROP bound if the developer is using the DDR3 exclusively, at RGBA8 - 853 MHz * 16 * 4 bytes which equals to 54 GB/s. The PS4 on the other hand becomes ROP bound at RGBA8 - 800 MHz * 32 * 4 bytes which equals to 102GB/s. Using RGA16F the PS4 is bandwidth bound at 204 GB/s (800MHz * 32 * 8 bytes).

They really need to lockup Titanfall 2 and Sunset Overdrive (at least keep it X1 only). MS pumped a ton of money into assisting with development and marketing, especially for TF.
You can disagree if you want but no one aside from hardcore Sony fans wants a Vita. If I were to get a dedicated portable it would be a 3DS to go with either an XB1/PS4/WiiU.
