"Mass Effect 2 was the game that introduced me to the series. I played the first one for about an hour before my patience grew thin. [...]
PS3 owners still get the short end of the stick when it comes to importing a character and previously made decisions from the first Mass Effect."
see the contradiction there?
the console market is hungry for an MMO and APB could have been a huge hit on all consoles and even the PC
APB just chose to ignore everything the beta testers suggested and thus they failed - their fault
pretty obvious isn't it?
I'm relying on my start-of-scholastic year bonus some of us lecturers get, it's usually to invest in extra curriculum for the students, but hey - it's my bonus :P
it only does less :P
this looks like an average trailer for several FPS mods out there
I don't know why you people are assuming why move will be so accurate. Did you actually try it or are you just imagining?
oh and I'm actually interested in the tech so I'm not trolling or anything.
the first portal alone was worth the price, on PC of course and I'm not referring to graphics, at the time I had a weak macbook which ran portal on bootcamp... portal was all about user-created maps, watching the ingenious maps designs of other modders was amazing.
anyway, portal 2 seems to be far better than the previous one - and that's saying a lot
just look at some videos on youtube :)
seems like the player is on god mode
but it surely looks damn impressive
not really since ME1 is owned by Microsoft
ME is in some ways far better than ME2
the story to begin with, even though ME2 had some of the most interesting characters in the history of gaming.
plus, I seriously would suggest anyone whose considering getting ME2 on their PS3 to play ME on their PC beforehand
1. it's a great game that shouldn't be missed
2. you won't enjoy ME2 as much
it may handle more "stress".
but jolly boy it won't render you textures as quickly =/
damn, do you guys even READ the article before you post your comments? or is reading just an option?
as usual, peopel on this site are ignoreing the facts, mafia2 was built on PC from the ground up, with Physx and all the fancy stuff PC entails, of course this is only possible on recent hardware (2 years old mostly), both consoles are oer 3 years of age now and the PS3 has a much weaker GPU than the 360 has
apart from that the PS3 architecture is so diverse that it's much harder to port, especially for a small dev team
all those who said that the Mafia series is just a boring GTA-clone have seriously never played the first game, it was like watching the Sopranos or Goodfellas set in the 1930s, yes it was that good.
*improve
there corrected
maybe BF3, which will have separate console and pc versions… I'd probably end up buying both of them :P
The demo was an early build, probably a year old.
The PS3 version showed drastic improvements over the demo, I don't think that any dev won't fully optimize their game to run at it's best on their leading system.
que?
I was doubtful that the multiplayer wouldn’t take the full advantage of what the game has over other FPSs, but all the previews have been really positive so far.
