toast alone is worth being the best thing ever
so you sir are wrong
sliced bread is the best thing ever
If developed correctly, particularly for the PC – I’m sure it will be a hit.
Actually I see this as a successful contender to TF2 – given that there will be an appropriate amount of DLC intended for the forthcoming years and a strong base for a successful community.
I won’t vouch for the consoles though, since it’s much harder to form game-specific communities.
My personal favourite has to be Killer 7 and Time Crisis.
Personally I think that the Wii is a perfect on-rails shooter console, and every hardcore gamer loves on-rail shooters - even if they hate fps. Shame nintendo abandoned their fans, my wii is gathering dust - and only my wife uses it - rarely ever anyway.
please no.
over-rated? what shooters aren't over-rated in your opinion? Killzone 2? Gears of War 2? Modern Warfare 2? Those titles must be the most mediocre, over-rated titles this gen thus far.
I know it's a matter of opinion and I should fully respect that, but you shouldn't look at HL2 now, where the FPS market is stagnant in terms of innovative ideas and gameplay. HL2 MADE the next-gen shooter, and that's a six-year old game.
Regarding L4D being over...
I doubt this 'GCPU' will be able to handle gaming in a wide spec - it maybe used in workstations etc
Story-wise I found Mafia 2 (only half way through atm) as good as Goodfellas.
doesn't mean that your card won't be supported anymore
future graphics cards will now be AMD 5770, change of name that's all

I am really baffled by this comment.
I'd rather have the next Timesplitters with the Cryengine3 :P
exactly
@devilhunterx
no, he said that's it's a matter of opinion
next time, learn to read
except this isn't an open world story
that's it :D
as you can see anyone who played UC2 can connect all the dots with the novel, there were also 2 films as one can see in the wiki article
reading Droid Control's comments in the thread, I see what he's trying to say. Game companies are trying to have their games much less "complicated" to appeal to the larger crowd.
While he does have a point, I don't really fear it, smaller developers like CDProjekt will keep on developing for PC creating these gameplay-intense experiences. There is a big crowd that is eager to keep on playing this kind of RPGs, hell the Witcher was released on PC only an...
Civilization IV?
it's the other way round :)
Lost Horizon is an old novel which inspired many action adventure novels, films and games. I'm sure Uncharted was one of them.
LOL
Oblivion was an action RPG, Dragon age was a much mroe tactical to begin with, it's clear that you played Origins on console
then again DA2 appears to be a washed out mass effect set in the DragonAge universe, lame
I keep on thinking as if I'm watching some video mod for "ArmA2 in NYC"
