If people are ok with waiting months for games to release even after they've been pushed back, I'm pretty sure they'll get over firmware X; simply because a stable console - which cost a lot more - is just as important as a stable game.
is be less aggressive on the release of firmwares and do things right. If I have to wait weeks before they can fix problem x, then I'll wait. It's much better knowing that the firmware is safe rather than hesitating because of fear of hardware failure that it may cause.
Firmware tests should definitely be done rigorously before releasing anything. A lot of the times, that's the biggest issue. Companies like Sony and Microsoft usually try to rush things out in order to patch things as quick as possible to prevent the community from exploding. Although I'm for releasing hasty fixes, I believe that taking their time on something that we can definitely TRUST, is much more valuable than having something that's fast and buggy. This should be interesting considering the DS is an innovative handheld. Will I pick it up? Probably so. My DS titles are dwindeling and I am in need of something else besides Super Mario.

The game looks good. Anyone who plays it will know that it's no driving sim like GT5 or Forza. But it definitely has its perks worth giving a shot.

Halo has developed a big enough universe and fanbase to be able to pull off such a feat. There's a lot of backstory to the Halo franchise and what better way than to go into just about everything than an encyclopedia? Almost like Star Wars.
They should make an age server system where, depending on the person's age, they are transferred to the appropriate server. That way, adults won't have to deal with the crap kids spew and vise versa.

The recession has slowly been lifting away as time passes rather than becoming the plague it once was. The economy is not in tip-top shape, but it's better than what it was. Gaming has been a pretty big help in encouraging people to open their wallets and spend.
It's, honestly, like if Call of Duty 4, Warhawk, and Socom US Navy Seals had insanely rough sex and conceived the most ludicrous mix from their best genetic traits, and spawned what we have been blessed with - MAG. The game is simply awesome in every shape or form. Although it's still beta and doesn't _look_ jaw dropping yet, I believe the final release will make FPS fans ram their heads in their TV's/Walls/pregnant women in excitement.

I enjoy Horror games, personally. And I would have to agree with the author on this one. Although Bioshock wasn't labeled as scary, the beginning of the game does make you jump a couple of times.
