I don't care about K/D or any stats like that really, my play style doesn't lend itself to those numbers. I like having strange, interesting things happen more than getting kills. I play for fun, not numbers.
NOOOOOO THIS IS THE ONE I WANTED! Now I'm stuck with the blue one, I didn't expect them to release the white one so soon.
I'm glad I read this review, even though I was already probably going to buy it. I did not know they used the MT Framework engine for the HD release, or that the lighting was redone. Even though I have not been very happy with Capcom for a while now, I would be willing to give them my money for this.
I have super shaky hands and I never had any problems playing this game. All you had to do was aim from the hip, holding the controller up was unnecessary and just makes the controls feel worse. Anyway I love this trilogy, for how awesome it was and for bringing metroid back after 8 years. Each game in the trilogy was its own unique experience, while still fitting together as whole really nicely.
I admit I disliked this game when I first played it, but the more I've replayed it the more I love it. And now I can't see why I didn't enjoy it in the first place. That's all I'll say since I know a lot of people disagree with me.
Has this guy been living under a rock? Twilight Princess on Wii had a right handed Link, and like the comment above says Nintendo already addressed the reasoning for it a long time ago.
I wonder who would disagree with that. I thought it was pretty clever.
CNN can suck my controller.
Tell that to all the homosexual animals. And guess what? During the Edo period of Japan homosexuality was considered a more noble pursuit than heterosexuality. Why don't you get some facts before you speak instead of trying to spread ignorance. The world didn't always demonize homosexuals, or think that there is something wrong with them.
At least Retro Studios has stepped in to fill the gap left by Rare. I'd say they've done a hell of a job too, and I really hope that Nintendo will let them make a Starfox game. I do still miss Rare though, their IP's just had a nice charm to them that really fit well on Nintendo systems.
Ahhh good times.
I did say I know it can open up a lot of possibilities for legitimate consumers...
I can't wrap my head around the thought process of pirates. It's like "yeah the game is good enough for me to go out of my way to get it, but give the developers money for all the hard work they put into it? HELL NO!" Yes it can open up a lot of possibilities for legit consumers, but it negatively impacts the entire industry in a much larger way. If a company doesn't make enough sales on a game how are we gonna see a sequel to it? Can you imagine if it was so easy to pir...
And when did we get SNES games? Haha
I say yes they are art, as long as you can tell the developers put a lot of care into making the game. So obviously some don't qualify.
The biggest complaints this reviewer had, the intentionally gimped controls and the fixed camera angles, are one of the reasons I like the old resident evil games more than 4 or 5. They really gave that feeling of helplessness that you would feel if you were actually in a situation where you have to run down a cramped hallway that has zombies at the end. And they are the reason why the older RE games are the only games I've ever played (other than silent hill) that I actually feel as if I...
This is one of my favourite parts of 3D Zelda games and one of the things I look forward to seeing in each new release, it just added to the sense of being there and I loved seeing cutscenes/doing certain events at different times of the day in separate playthroughs (like going up to the goron mines in TP with the morning light hitting the camera while I smack a goron in the face). I guess I'd still be able to do that somewhat, but I really hope its worth it for them to have taken that ou...
Considering this is the last game on the list of games that made me buy a PS3, and i'm sure i'm not alone when I say that, I think it does. Also with nomura wanting to build this game around the PS3's capabilities, and with how much content was cut from XIII due to the multiplatform release, it definitely matters.
Definitely, the fact that the gameplay was going to be similar to kingdom hearts is what interested me the most about this game.
This game makes demons souls look like a casual game.
