That way it was a decent challenge, and I'm doing the same thing for Hero Mode and it's much more difficult. The point of potions and fairies has always been to make the game easier while remaining optional.

This is already one of my favorite games of all time and I'm only 40 hours into it. I haven't been this blown away by a game world since Ocarina of Time.
Did you do a lot of the side quests and have a lot of fragments? I only had like 40 fragments and that boss took me about 45 minutes in which if I messed up even for a second I would die. I freaked out when I beat it finally.
Don't pay attention to this person. This collection is on par with the GOW collection, they just decided instead of stretching/zooming in on the menus and some of the cutscenes they left them in the original 4/3. The games all run perfectly which is the most important thing for them, and they don't have any color or contrast problems like the Silent Hill collection has. Every series has to progress eventually. But I think Silent Hill still has a chance to get back on top, because it has almost endless possibilities with the basic concept for the game. And I like how a lot of elements from the whole series were put into downpour, so I think it's moving in the right direction. My main problem with it is the music. I miss Akira Yamaoka.
There's way more problems with it's presentation than that. Lower contrast and color, sound looping issues, sound effects sounding odd or not being there, audio sync issues in the cutscenes, and framerate problems that for me seem to affect button input, I don't know if everyone else is having this problem but it's really annoying when you need to run. The contrast and color I can fix with my TV, everything else I guess I'll just have to deal with.

As long as I can enjoy them in their original state with the tint of blue/red the GBC gave them, I'm all for it. Just recently tried out Fire Red for the first time and I couldn't believe how awesome it was!
If they released the original versions my only problem would be that they would be in black and white. I played them for the first time on a game boy color, so this would really impact the nostalgia factor.
If you can't understand that a game doesn't have to be Rated-M to be mature, that's your own problem. And most games that are Rated-M are so immature I can't help but laugh at them. Zelda on the other hand has made me cry, multiple times. And not from sadness of a scene but from empathy in multiple kinds of situations. And there are some scenes that get me teary eyed no matter how many times I see them.
This was a great read, and I'm glad Majora's Mask is finally getting the attention it deserves. I was also happy to see that Majora's Mask was such a big part of the 25th anniversary zelda poster with all the different versions of Link on it, with Fierce Diety Link as the largest one on it all the way at the top.
As a huge fan of the series myself I have to ask, what is it about KH 2 that makes it your favourite game?
I've never had the need to stand up playing Wii, or had my shoulders hurt while sitting down because I rest the controllers in my lap and just move my wrist. But most of the time I'm laying down because I have back problems, and even then I have never had any issues playing Wii. Even when I play for hours I never find it uncomfortable or more tiring than playing with a normal controller.
