I mean that's your opinion, but I never had any problems with the controls. Although now that I've played the Wii version I can't imagine playing it with just one analog stick.
I love how Reggie introduced himself like that.
PS3 taking publicity away from the 3DS? Does this guy have a time machine?
I play it with no aiming reticule and the HUD turned off and it is the most immersive experience I've ever had with a game.
Hell no!
That picture is hilarious.
Well, somewhat. The way they designed the game for the D-pad was very analog stick like, so playing it with the circle pad works very well and almost feels like it's designed for it. Like I can do the side somersaults in pretty much any direction with no problems, it works that well. I think what they did was a sort of transition between all the 8 directions that made it feel smoother and analog like, I read that Mario Kart DS also worked very well with the circle pad because of this. Obv...
Playing Super Mario 64 DS on the 3DS with the circle pad is so awesome.
I still remember my heart racing as I tried to hide from SA-X, and then when it spots you in your hiding spot oh my god it was so scary!
I have been trying so hard to track this down for DS! I can never find it in stores though. I've heard so many great things about this game but I never had the chance to play it when it came out originally. I'll probably end up having to order it off the internet.
You took the words right out of my mouth, even though I still posted a much longer explanation about how I feel about all this haha.
I love you Jirachi.
Just because something is different does not make it a gimmick. And just because you don't like it does not make it a gimmick either. I personally believe the motion controls on Wii have improved the experience of the games on the system, and have provided something you cannot get on other platforms. Metroid Prime on Wii is still one of the most immersive games I have ever played, and nothing can change my mind about that. And then there's the whole waggle thing, sure I was right ther...
Uhhhh what? From all the gameplay videos i've seen the enemies do even more damage to you than in majora's mask, which is easily the most difficult 3D Zelda game at the moment. And ocarina of time was only "hard" because of how new most of the gameplay elements were at the time, since it was an earlier 3D game. If you play it today you'd laugh at how easy it is.
Doesn't surprise me, Super Mario Galaxy 2 was pretty much ignored for many awards.
I'd choose art style over detail every time.
Hell yes!
I can't remember exactly what game I played first, but my mom and dad had a NES and then bought a SNES sometime after my brother and I were born. My first game was either Super Mario Bros, the original Legend Of Zelda, or Super Metroid. Then once my parents split up when I was 2, gaming was one of the only connections I had with my dad. So that pretty much sealed the deal, I have such fond memories of going to my dad's house and playing all the new games like Starfox 64 and Ocarina of...
I know I already pointed that out in previous discussions on the 3DS launch price, and really if you look at what was built in to both systems the 3DS was so much more worth it. The PSP had almost nothing built in, people seem to ignore this fact. So I really don't see what the problem was, and yet they STILL want it to be cheaper.
I can't even describe how much I love this game. I'm gonna go play it now.
