I'm still just not sure about Nioh
Oh man anytime amiibo is mentioned somewhere, I get giddy for Pokémon amiibo cards. And yet I'm still waiting ...
Oh man, what a great game. I can't bring myself to play remakes of games this old. I prefer my rose-coloured glasses, thanks. Ahaha
Not my jam, but this will bug sooooo many people who love this game. On another note, what a killer micro transaction game this would be!
Exactly! Zelda not at launch, people complain. Too few launch games, people complain. Both can't happen, so I guess we're going to have people complain!
I actually can't wait anymore for this console. I want ZELDA on the go!!
I mean, it sucks that prices have gone up because of the exchange rate, but realistically, US prices for games have stayed at $60 for so long, that we're paying the equivalent to them. When the dollar was basically par and we were still paying $70-$80 per game, that was crap. Now, with the dollar hovering around 1.32-1.35, we're paying virtually identical prices, so it's not horrible.
This would be insanely cool. I just don't actually expect it to happen, unfortunately. Realism versus optimism, I think.
What a beautiful game!
This would be insanely cool!
Red has always been for Mario games specifically, both on Wii U and 3DS. They don't do it with very Mario game, but to my knowledge, they never do it with a non-Mario title. I'm probably wrong, though, and someone will find it, hah.
AGREED! Unless 1-2-Switch has some insane gameplay and depth that they haven't shown off yet (don't hold your breath), it looks like a pack-in, or maybe a $20-$30 party game. Same with Mario Kart. It's bad enough that it isn't coming out at launch, but you're charging people a full $60 for the same game they bought a couple of years ago because you've added in Battle Mode? I LOVE battle mode, but that's too much. $30-$40 would be much more reasonable.
It's pretty old tech. The camera is kind of funky and too much, IMO, but they're just Wii Remotes if you think about it. The NFC reader tech for amiibo isn't new, either. Price shouldn't be too affected by them as they've produced hundreds of millions of basically the same thing so far.
They did that with their previous two consoles, but it never happened with NES, SNES, N64, or GameCube, or any of their portables at launch.
@Vegamyster This isn't about pricing them more reasonably, it's about showing that without the pack-ins, the console could be much more inexpensive.
@bouzebbal The comparison was made with the statement that the Switch is reasonably priced as some people think it is too expensive. However, comparing strictly for technology's sake, not from a competition standpoint, they can be compared because they have similar components.
@Shin-Zantetsuken Th...
For what they're offering, it's a totally sweet deal. An iPad mini goes for $399 right now. I mean, sure, it's got a bigger, higher-resolution screen, but not nearly as much power, no controllers, no dock or HDMI out, and no ZELDA! Just imagine getting rid of the accessories. This console could SOAR.
I want the demand to be there, but being realistic tells me otherwise.
I think it's because the areas that have been shown are typically more of the peaceful areas like the villages and such. In the volcanic, ice, mountain, and desert areas, I'm hoping for many, many more enemies and interactive elements.
No question. They're masters of the tease.
I'm not one for a ton of extra memorabilia, but these are freaking awesome.
