I will tell you what the mistake is, going with that template!
It is extremely hard to read so I skipped it....
If you haven't bit before when the prices were better, why bite now? Wait for a price drop!
Not only that, but the CGI wasn't very good. Notice how the protagonist (I assume) trust the weapon into the guy laying on the floor in the teaser video. The speed that it does it at looked weird, not to mention the movement look awkward.
Now it might be too early, and you should judge the game until some game play is released, but that teaser didn't tease me much, rather turn me off.
I'm so looking forward to this game. I loved the first one!!!
I'm with mindboggle as well. KZ2 was underwhelming, but I did love the sniper feature using the six axis.
Even the almighty Halo doesn't get as much playtime as CoD4. Looking forward to MW2!
IE 8 works great for me, but have been rendering pages incorrectly some times even in compatibility mode. This used to be a problem with FireFox, but now the table seem to have switched. Odd isn't it?
I think this is misleading, because it might be for W3schools only. It wasn't clear other than saying "W3Schools statistics", but where does the data come from. Assuming it is W3schools very own site it makes sense.
Firefox users tend to be a little more sophisticated than your average Joe. The sheer number of add-ons greatly help productivity!
Well looking at it from the other view is that games released on PC tend to get pirated to oblivion and cannibalize their console game sales.
Didn't Infinity Ward show some insane numbers for CoD4, where they sold a fraction of the number of PC gamers online actually bought the game?
In Sony's defense, they have done an excellent job of:
a) instilling hype. I mean what other console has been able to cause fear in the competition and getting consumers to wait for your console to release. Just look at the Dreamcast vs. PS2.... Heck it happened with the Xbox 360 vs. PS3!
b) getting legions of fanbois to hype the PS to oblivion.
c) getting people to buy a console waiting for a game to release!
d) getting a brand name synonym...
Although I sympathize with them, buy a 360. It cost about the same as a graphics card, has less configuration issues and you don't have to upgrade again next year.
You can thank me later.
Now is among the best time to buy companies. Why? It is simple, because economy is not doing so well so the books don't look as good among other things reducing it's value proposition to potential buyers.
This is the smartest a company can do right now is to buy their own stock (assuming it is a good deal) and buy other companies if you can afford it without risking your own company. MS is so full of cash it is still giving dividends to shareholders.
Dividends in my...
This must be one of history's biggest anti-competitive actions done to a corporation from an entity.
Soon, you will be forced to pick a choice between car stereo options in your car from different manufacturers. In fact, from now on with your iPod you will be forced to choose who is supplying your headphones. Similarly with the Wii you will be forced to choose from different DVD readers and so on....
If I was MS, I would say screw you EU and pull my product and lay o...
I'm looking forward to this game and will enjoy it on the 360. You haters, can get it on the PS3!
Sold out of the Prestige Edition like 3 months in advance? Seems like they either had a very small allocation or those brits do have a lot of cash!!!
You would think so. I have only experienced crashes/freezing in two games on my 360. In one of them, Bioshock it froze (the only time) and using the Guide button to pull up the menu it would not shut off. I had to press the power button to power cycle it.
This indicated to me there were some differences, but I don't know. I just make sure to exit the game to the dash, logout and then shut down from the Guide. Maybe a little bit paranoid, but I have never once had any problems wit...
@syronicus
Did you notice that I said my temperature outside goes up to 110F. This means opening the Window is like opening an oven.
@scissor_runne
I'm assuming you mean low powered components. That is somewhat of a reliever, but not a solution. My AMD setup that has a CPU with Thermal Envelope of 65W still consumes on average around 80W. My C2D E8500 setup consumes 120W on average. All that heat goes into my small room. All the components are high grade parts that is...
This was filed in 2007 and we are in 2009. I'm hopeful, as this is my most requested feature, but as time keeps going the less likely it will happen.
Unless Sony is just trying to sell more PS2s... doesn't quite add up though.
I'm sure there are multitude of reasons for lowered manufacturing cost, but practically speaking it isn't the fact that a slim that reduces cost. It is rather that they are able to reduce number of parts significantly and cram all the parts needed into a smaller space.
This indirectly suggest that there is lower powered chip due to all the heat created or considerably better cooling system (the latter unlikely). Lower powered chip is generally created in a smaller fabrication pr...
I have never erased the cache on my 360 once and it have worked fine for almost 3 years. I always make sure to gracefully shut down my console. A graceful shutdown is to never use the hard power button, but to always exit to dashboard and log out of live then hold in the Guide button to shutdown.
I believe the newest consoles work very much like advanced OS that leaves fragmented files behind if not properly shut down.
I still have to leave my computer on. In the summer, that equals to a 60-100W heater in my small room when the outside can go as high as 110F.
Why aren't these things just implemented straight into the console?
To add to his statement which I agree, the strongest regions for Playstation is also the regions (Europe and Japan) where Sony can charge more money for each game due to currency and higher operating cost.
Every month we consistently see that NPD numbers show that 360 outsell the PS3 almost always in games. Unfortunately we don't get these numbers for Europe so it is hard to tell.
Another thing I noticed is that PS3 games tend to not fall in price as fast as 360 game...
