agree with above...vikings cut through air units like butter if their are a bunch of them
don't know what they're saying, but the title screen is a straight rip of the sonic 1 title screen in an homage to the graphic novel which shows mucho love to Sonic (from the numerous references to the fact that all of the villains drop butt loads of coins after being defeated).
I just really wish it had online co-op.
Seriously is that too much to ask?
Sure it's fun to play with your friends, but it sucks when you live 300 miles away from your friends that you used to play old school beat em ups with (like streets of rage, golden axe, x-men arcade, TMNT arcade and simpsons arcade).
I want to play it, but i'm holding out in hopes that they release and online co-op patch.
But it seems a lot of people have hate for them. FF8 had easily my favorite summons of any FF game to go with sweet graphics for the time. The story was a little lacking but I really enjoyed the game.
FF9 went back to a more traditional gameplay (it seemed to borrow a lot from FF tactics with the classes and what not); however I couldn't stand the leveling and ability system in 9. However, FF9 has easily the best ending of all the final fantasy games I have played (fol...
But man do I wish it had online co-op.
I would have had such a blast reliving an old school beat em up with my brothers and friends like I did growing up playing streets of rage, golden axe, x-men arcade and teenage mutant ninja turtles arcade.
It just seems like such an easy thing to implement. :-(
All my friends who I game with live 300 miles away from me.
The game still looks awesome, it just seems like it would have made so much sense to have online co-op. I mean it couldn't have been that hard when over side scrolling beat em up games have online co-op (like the turtles in time remake).
It doesn't bother me since I played DA:O on console, but I understand the anger that PC gamers have towards Bioware if this is true.
To just get rid of the isometric view for the PC version will alienate so many players, especially because it doesn't affect the players who were gonna play it on console anyways...it only screws the PC players who wanted to play it the same as always.
In the article they said that the rogue was basically pointless in DAO.
I couldn't disagree more, backstab rogues dealt some serious damage with the right set up and were integral in my team for beating the game the 3 different times I finished it.
Anyways, I can't wait for this game to come out, I love DAO, probably my favorite game this generation.
Was take every good/great game that sold well this generation, put it on a list and nit picked little flaws in the game and said that it deserved to score 10%-30% lower.
What a douche. Just trying to get hits by naming big name games.
I hear ya. I had been getting my but whooped online but I was learning and each time I was getting better and the eventually the matches started evening out.
Then I added a bunch of my friend from college and home to my list using the facebook thing and I've been getting to "enlighten" them on the finer details of starcraft.
I can't even explain how much I'm loving this game.
I thought it was odd when the said the flood (ugh, I mean zerg)...Ummm, it's the other way around. The zerg and Starcraft were around before Halo was even thought of.
But yeah, in general I don't see how on earth you compare a RTS with shooters GOW and Halo unless you are just playing to fanboys.
I myself have played it without being connected to battle.net
You just don't get any achievements put onto your battle.net profile when you aren't connected to battle.net (which does suck, because I didn't realize this at the time and I missed out on 25 achievement points since I lost my battle.net connection. I had to replay the mission from my last save which was in the middle of the mission in order to get the achievements.)
Also, I'm curi...
It is true you don't get your achievements if you beat a mission while you are disconnected from battle.net (it happened to me, thought it would just load up the achievements when I finished the mission and reconnected to battle.net, but it doesn't).
However, this article is spreading blatant lies, because the game does clearly tell you that you have been disconnected from battle.net when playing if you are disconnected.
It's a message as clear ...
First of all saying that they are only getting a 3rd of the game...Who decides what a whole game and one third of the game is. If it so happens that SC2 Wing of Liberty has a campaign that is 3 times longer than any of the campaigns from the original and that campaign has 100x more story and depth than the original while still packaging the entire multiplayer aspect of the game...then HOW IS IT ONLY 1/3 of the GAME?!?!?!
To me, people are acting very entitled. Because the f...
I hate to burst your bubble, but what you just said is the definition of opinion, not the truth. :-)
But the supply depot defense was successful
Even the early build they showed of the character and the enemy archetypes look a little better than the graphics they used in DA 2 (which looks essentially the same as Star Wars KOTOR).
This game should be awesome, too bad we have to wait like a year until it comes out.
P.S. Anyone else notice that sound guy had the Dead Space poster hanging in the background. That's when you know you did a great job with sound, when other developer sound guys hang the...
I feel like Dragon Age and Mass Effect were completely different types of games.
Either way, both were great, but I prefer Dragon Age.
"Jacked up and good to go"
vikings are the transformers FYI.
I dislike thors because they cost too much and can be easily dispatched by cheaper units.
